"Just got it today. Anywho, here goes." She entered the building. She looked up the stairwell, and found it criss-crossed with webs. She couldn't even see more than 3 floors above her. "Awesome. Another giant spider."

"I could say the same of you." Miko said, beginning to ascend the stairs. She began testing her new scimitar's sharpness, cutting through the webbing that blocked the way.

They were soon inside the massive cluster of webs. Miko stepped out onto one, and found it capable of supporting her weight. "Note to self, do not cut downward too enthusiastically." She walked across and through an open doorway, looking around. Just above them, the spider waited. |

Miko peeked outside. "Oh shi- Tomo, move!"
Before Miko began talking, the spider swung at Tomo with one leg, attempting to smack her into Miko.

Tomoko's Spider-Sense picked it up, and she jumped out of the way. "Why is it that I'm the only good spider on this planet?"

"Because you're the only human one?" Miko posited, running across and bouncing off a strand of web to hit the spider midair. It responded by smacking her back to the floor, aiming to hit Tomoko with her.

Tomoko went to catch her, but was knocked down in the process. However, she kept her arms wrapped around her. "You okay?"

Miko paused a moment upon realizing where she'd landed. "Uh, yeah, yeah I'm fine." The spider immediately shot a glob of web, aiming for Tomo's hands.

The spider simply continued attempting to hit them with webbing. Miko was all but frozen in place, still trying to process what was happening.
