Annabelle closed her eyes, waiting for something to feel. She opened her eyes, and yelled "DUCK!", doing so.

A blast of energy flashed past where they'd been standing a moment before. "Why can't you people just stand still? It won't hurt." The Shadow said, a beast with navy blue skin built like a wall. An odd, labyrinthine design was traced on its breastplate. It snapped its fingers and Kuros surrounded it.
Annabelle's eyes widened. She steeled her expression, and loaded her Ressha in to transform, doing so.

He moved to her side, initiating the transformation.

"Oh, Tokkyugers. All the better." It gestured, and the Kuros charged. Annabelle immediately launched in, catapulting over a Kuro and taking out two more with a flying scissor kick. She began beating her way through towards the Shadow.

He called on his sword and slashed through each one as he walked through them, making measured strikes.

Annabelle launched herself off of a Kuro, slamming into the Shadow and driving it to the floor. "Who is your sponsor?" She asked it, raising her claw threateningly.
It chuckled, a deep, throaty laugh. "You know exactly who." It vanished out from under her, appearing next to Satoshi and attacking him with a strange polearm, with the blade zigging and zagging in odd ways, but not ways that diminished it's effectiveness as a weapon.

Satoshi stepped back as soon as it appeared, holding his sword out in an attempt to keep the weapon at bay. He drew his sidearm as well and started to fire for the monster's chest.

It made no attempt to block the shots. When they hit, they began running through the maze on its chest, causing the design to glow brighter. "Shoot all you want. Your shots will simply be lost."
"Don't touch its chest!" Annabelle yelled at Satoshi, trying to fight off several Kuros at once.

He kept his eye on the monster and moved to the side, firing on the Kuro's to try to assist Annabelle.

Annabelle was grateful for the help, as she dispatched the last of the Kuros with a flying kick. "Most of our attacks won't work on him."
"Correct. They'll just get lost." The Shadow replied. "I am Labyrinth Shadow, after all."
