It had been some time since Akira had been in New York, but she had never anticipated her first day back would involve investigating a series of robberies. Apparently, the only things stolen were historic gemstones, much like a similar case in England a few weeks back. Arriving at the scene of the crime, she stepped under the police line to take a look at what happened...

Tristan had been sent to the crime scene on SAINT business. They tended to send him in whenever shiny things were stolen. He'd gotten past the police line with a fake FBI badge and a charming smile. It worked every time. He examined the scene of the crime, looking at the place the gemstones were formerly placed.

Mayu had teleported into the middle of the crime scene before the other two got there, and she was looking at the gemstones' former resting place before she notices two others approach. She says nothing, but inwardly she wonders if those gemstones were mahouseki...or magic stones.
