Bando was whistling away while cleaning the dishes. It always felt good to do a day of honest work, but still he couldn't help feel all alone behind his counter. Maybe it was time to look into hiring a part-timer or two..
"Three attacks in a such a short amount of time," Bando said to no one particular, "Things are sure getting hairy around here."

Andrea trudged into Drupers, still not feeling 100%. Having spent a good several days in Intensive Care after the attack by Bujin Gaim, she was finally cleared enough to wander around base, but not for going back on duty. Sitting down at the counter, she winced a little; she was wounded in the stomach, so even sitting down still hurt.

Bando tapped his finger to his cheek and made a hmm sound. He snapped his fingers, "I got just the thing!"
He then retreated towards the back and began his preparations.
That's when Jon entered the room.
"Hello, Orange Girl," he said from behind her, "I didn't expect to see you up so soon. Aren't you in the middle of recovering after the battle with the other Gaim?"

"We will glad to have you back then," Jon nodded. The two sat in awkward silence for a few moments until Bando returned. He placed a plate in front in Andrea.
"Here you go, Andrea. A one of a kind special just for you - Orange Samurai cake!"
It was simply an ordinary looking cake but with orange slices cut to look like Gaim's face.

Andrea looked at the cake before laughing. "T-Thanks a lot, Bando!" she told him before digging into the cake.

"Sure.." Bando blinked at the man while cutting off another slice, this one lacking in the orange decoration, "Who did you say you were again?"
"Surely you must remember me Bando. It's me Hideyasu Jonouchi."
Bando dropped the plate on the ground.

Bando was visibly shaken, but quickly bent down to pick up the piece.
"I-it's nothing. I'm just surprised to see you, Jonouchi-kun, after so long. I thought you had deserted."
"I did," Jon explained, "But Miss Kureshima allowed me to rejoin."
"I see.."

Andrea had a sneaking suspicion that something was indeed off about this whole situation. She shrugged and continued on with eating... but she kept an eye out for any suspicious activity from Jonouchi or Bando.

Jon nodded in agreement, "We really need to catch up. We're old friends you see."
