Unexpected Aftermath [SUZUKI, Iris, Shinji, Harper later]

[Suzuki Riho]

Riho clung to Seto's arm for a split second by instinct, before releasing it out of embarrassment. "W-what's going on.." she whispered, barely audible, but he could hear.

[Seto Arai]

"I don't know..." Seto responded and looked outside. "Hey, driver, what's up?"

The driver and officer did not respond for a while after stopping the vehicle. Then, both turned around and looked at the two and smiled creepily. Colorful bright stain-glass markings appeared on their faces as they did so and their eyes glowed. Seto's reaction to their expressions pretty much speaks for itself.

[Suzuki Riho]

Riho's reaction was one of surprise, and she frantically tries to, and opens, the side door, slipping out of the vehicle and leaving Seto an opening to do the same.

[Seto Arai]

Seto quickly followed suite, narrowly escaping the glass-stained fangs from slamming into his neck. Once he was out of the vehicle, he shouted to the idol. "Run!"

He readied his Genesis Driver as he ran toward the opposite direction of where the Humvee were facing, only to be stopped dead on his tracks by the sight of a mob of monsters waiting for them at the end of the bridge.

Seto quickly thought about going the other direction, but alas another group of monsters were waiting for them on the other end. They were surrounded.

[Suzuki Riho]

Riho started to run, but fell to the ground when she saw the others coming. Getting back up, she scrambled backwards until she felt her back hit something. It was Seto. "D-doesn't look like we can run!" she gave with a panic evident in her tone..

[Seto Arai]

Seto desperately looked back and forth. Alas, there was no way out and for that, both were left with one choice - Fight or die. But Suzuki was no fighter, and Seto was no combat prodigy; the odds were completely against them.

Placing on his Genesis Driver, Seto gripped the Lemon Energy lockseed in his right hand and extended his high high up into the air, yelling "Henshin!" as he did so. He slammed the lockseed into his Driver and set it in place. 'Lock...On!'

Pushing the side lever, a mechanical lemon dropped onto him and completed his transformation. 'Soda! Lemon Energy Arms! Fight the Power! Fight the Power! Fight-Fight-Fight-Fight-Fi-Fi-Fi-Fi-Fight! 

The creatures took the transformation as an act of aggression and their menacing walk shifted into a charge and Seto quickly braced himself as he readied his Sonic Arrow. "Suzuki, I'll try to clear a path! You see an opening, you make a run for it, got it?!"

[Suzuki Riho]

"H-hai!" She replied, staying close..before something occurred to her. "Wait, what about you?! Can you possibly take this many?" It didn't feel right, leaving him there...

[Seto Arai]

"I trained for this!" Seto replied. "Go! I'll be right behind you!"

It was obvious that even with the powers of a New Generation Rider, there was no way Seto could take on a whole battalion of kaijins alone and win no less survive. But thankfully, the Genesis Driver's output would even up the score as Seto would quickly find out seconds later.

The kaijins quickly closed in and Seto immediately swung his Sonic Arrow around like a sword, brandishing it over all them and knocking them back. He proceeded to shove them aside in an attempt to make way for him and Suzuki to pass through as he plowed his bow-like weapon into the monsters that got in his way. Although he was for too concerned for his and Suzuki's well-being to show, he was quite surprised at the power he now wielded.

'Coming from Last Raven...' he thought. 'This power is leagues above the Sengoku Driver!'

Seeing how much of a threat Seto now proved, the kaijins now decided to group up on him as main priority, leaving a gap in their formation wide enough for Suzuki to pass through.

[Suzuki Riho]

Suzuki hated this situation very much...but she'd listen. She ran forward, dancing away from Kaijin that got too close, trying to get out. And it looked like she would, until a kaijin got in front of her. She tries to slide underneath it, but it closes its legs together and her feet hit a figurative brick wall, laying out on her back. Said kaijin raises its weapon to finish her off...but it didn't realize it was within arrow range.

[Seto Arai]

Seto's situation, too, started getting rather sticky. The kaijins now started attacking from all sides and the trooper came to realize the limits of what he can handle as a claw slammed into his armor and hit him towards the bridge's stone railings. He prepared to throw an attack of his own, but then noticed Suzuki in trouble at the corner of his view. One of the kaijins had a weapon raised ready to butcher her if Seto did not act now.

He aimed his Sonic Arrow and pulled its bow back as far as he can. Right before the kaijins could intercept him, Seto let loose a stray energy projectile locked onto the kaijin threatening the idol.

[Suzuki Riho]

She scrambles away from the kaijin after the energy arrow hit, and ends up running over to the bridge's stone railing next to him. Panic was increasing in her, but she was near the only stable point right now, but even that wouldn't last for much longer..

[Seto Arai]

The kaijins grabbed his Sonic Arrow and bashed the weapon out of his hands, which went over the railings and into the deep waters below them. Seto peered over said railings and stared down into the calm blue stream below. It was not a long fall, but there was no point in retrieving it at this point given the standpoint they were in.

He unsheathed his remaining weapon, a Musou Saber and pointed it at the kaijins that now surrounded the two of them. He couldn't even manage to kill one of them...

The Fangire that they once thought to be a military officer could be seen grinning as he raised his palm at them. A white sparkly light emerged from his hand and was prepared to blast at the both of them. Knowing the attack was imminent, Seto immediately turned to shield Suzuki from the brunt of the force as the white beam came and exploded into his back.

[Suzuki Riho]

She did the only thing she could do..making herself small by holding on to him and taking a deep breath as they were blasted over the edge, falling into the water below. The enemies moved on about their business, assuming that the blast killed them both. While Riho let out a gasp of air and then blacked out from the force of the fall.

[Seto Arai]

Seto's back was luckily protected by his armor's thick cape so it did not hurt too much for him. His major problem was now that Suzuki had been knocked out cold by the impact and was now drowning from the water. He quickly swam to her and gripped her with his arms before trying to swim back on the show.

He immediately ran into another problem after noticing how slow he was swimming. His suit's armor, while keeping oxygen flowing and allowing him to breathe underwater, had now made him weigh much more heavier than what he would normally weigh and the trooper remembered that an average armored rider was around two-hundred pounds. By the time he reached the surface, the water would've killed the idol he was suppose to be protecting.

With only one option left, he pulled out his spare Sengoku Driver and aligned it onto Suzuki's waist. He prayed and waited for the belt forming sound...

[Suzuki Riho]

There was a very long second of suspense before the Sengoku Driver's belt formed around her slender waist, and with that he was able to drag her to shore easily.
