Suzuki's shop was winding down for the day. There were still one or two lessons going on upstairs, and he technically didn't close for a couple of hours, but business was almost done for the day. He kept open as late as he did as a courtesy more than anything, to let people who needed it buy music to that late point. He sat at the counter, humming a soft melody to himself as he attended to some clerical affairs.

It truly was a rare day. Katsu was in control, and had no issues with the...entity within her. She had her sketchbook, which had been woefully underused of late. She ended up near the shop, able to hear some music from within (probably due to her increased senses, even in human form), so she chose this as a spot to sit and draw.

On a nearby station, Lee's Drill Ressha skidded slowly to a halt where he exited the oversized (yet invisible to the public eye) ride and walked into the city. He was free this week and he decided to stop here and take a stroll.

Hana sipped from a coffee cup. It was her break and boy was she not feeling like returning to work anytime soon. She had left Basette back at her office, but Hana was not worried she would be discovered by anyone not in the know. Pendragon Incorporated, though unknown to the puplic, was created to assist the Magi in the war against the forces of darkness, Infershia.
She was walking around when she came upon a music shop and decided what they hey and went inside.

Suzuki finished his work and sat back to listen to the music from upstairs. The melodies produced by amateurs blended in odd ways, creating almost a symphony at times. From the discordant sounds emerged a song with a strange melody. Suzuki almost wanted to reach up and pluck out the magic, but he was...
Magic. He sensed magic.
The large husky-like dog sleeping beside him behind the counter perked up as well. Gospel could sense it too. He concentrated, and he could smell something pure, something white. Like the driven snow itself. Suzuki knew this magic; Infershia feared it deeply. He chose not to pick a fight; if the Infershia acted nearby, he'd act as well, but he needed to keep Suzuki and Wolzard separate.

Hana's heeled toe started tapping as soon as the music from upstairs washed over her. It was amateur, but at the same time showed potential. Hana didn't consider herself much of a music afficiendo, but she had spent a fairly large quarter of her life at dance clubs and hanging out with DJs. She even dated a couple herself.
She stopped dead in tracks after taking one more step.
Magic. She sensed magic.
And she could tell right away it wasn't friendly.

"Uuza Ugaro Douza." Suzuki muttered, a quick spell concocted on the fly to conceal his magic. He couldn't outright hide his mana, so he simply broadcast it outward. It would be pointless to follow the scent if the scent led 15 different directions.
At least, he hoped so.

There was a disturbance in the force, she thought. The mana had vanished completely from the store and could be felt from outside of it.
She sighed, it could be nothing. This was a large city, strong negative feelings had a nasty habit of becoming residual energy. If they became strong enough, they could even take shape and become spectors. As it stood now, it didn't seem like it would be much of a problem so Hana decided to stay put. When she got back to Pendragon, she would sent out some flunkies to check it out later.

Suzuki kept his own feeling on the other magus. She apparently hadn't decided to hide her magic the way Suzuki had, so he could feel with a reasonable degree of accuracy where she was. He could have simply whistled something and immolated her right then and there, but that would've led to a long, annoying criminal investigation that would have absolutely tanked his store's reputation. He contented himself with keeping an eye on her position. He could have called in a distraction of some kind; that mummified bastard probably would have been more than happy to simply spread chaos. But he chose not to; he would've needed to reveal Wolzard.

She strolled over to the man at the counter.
Besides the attack inside the House itself, Infershia has kind of quiet lately, but of course that simply means Meemy must be plotting some terrible scheme.
"Hi," she greeted him with a smile, "Have any recommendations? I'll listen to just about anything, except American Country or Screamo. Not too fond of Death Metal either or anything like that."

"Well then." Suzuki sat up. "Goss, get me, uhm, player J." He snapped his fingers at the large white dog next to him. Gospel responded to the name "Goss". It helped separate the personas. Gospel rose, shook off, and trotted away. "Something I have been listening to is a band named Sabaton. They're from Sweden, but they don't scream." As he finished speaking, Gospel returned with a small MP3 clutched lightly between his teeth, with a pair of headphones wrapped around it.

"Wow, that's one smart dog," she remarked, "I had a dog once. He just slept all day and farted all the time. I think he had a condition..Poor guy."

"I've had him since he was born. Trained him every minute of his life." It also helped Gospel was as intelligent as the average human. But he'd gotten good at pretending to be like a normal, very goddamn well-trained dog. Suzuki was concentrating partly on keeping his cloaking spell up, so he was a little distracted. His eyes wandered, but he snapped back to attention, paying attention to the customer.

She began to reminisce about her now deceased dog and quickly snapped herself out of it.
"So, you were saying about the band?"

"Ah, yes. They are technically a heavy metal band, but they don't scream. You can actually listen to and understand the lyrics, which is why I've been listening to them recently." Gospel laid the player on the counter and trotted back to Suzuki's side, flopping down and attempting to go back to sleep.
