The blow hit her arms with a loud clang as she hissed in pain as the rotors whirred to life to fix any anomalies, "I hate it when that happens," she said as she went to elbow the man's arm joint to immobilise him.

He was stunned. "What the... Oh, fuck this!" He leaped back and struck a stance.
"Please tell me you can use those GekiChangers." Mele said, sheathing her sai and preparing herself.
"Ringi: Jyujin Jashin Hen!" He screamed, as his head and arms re reacted into his torso. His chest began to inflate a moment later, blowing up like a balloon.

The torso "popped" a moment later, revealing a strange new form. " Let's see what this gets me." He assumed his stance again. " Tagire! Beast On!" Mele yelled, assuming her own transformed state. |

He crossed his arm-blades to block, using the force of the punch to propel himself backward. "Ringi: Mantis Senkouzan!" He released an X-shaped slash of pure Rinki at Mary.
Mele vanished, running past Mary and up a wall behind Makirika. She waited, unseen.

Mary crossed her arm and took the full blow of the blast as it dragged her several meters away as she then ran back up again, "That didn't even hurt," she yelled jump kicking at it.

"Mantis Senkouzan! Mantis Senkouzan! Mantis Senkouzan!" He began screaming, launching off several more X-shaped slashes.
"Geki Waza: Mukou Shouha!" Mele revealed herself, standing on the wall, and her tongue shot out once. It stabbed through Makirika's left shoulder, knocking him to the floor. "I've disrupted the flow of his Ki. Finish him now!"

"Rrragh!" Mary cried out going straight towards it and simply smashing through the attacks before Mele helped her out and caught him off guard as Mary didn't need to be told twice. She charged up her Ki and flame engulfed her before she ran up to him and punched him straight through the floor releasing all her Ki at once.

He screamed in pain as the attack hit, but the scream ended soon. His body dissolved away into Rinki, floating off into the wind.
On the roof nearby, Snow saw the Rinki floating away. "Of course." A moment later, he was joined by Anansi. "Do you have them?"
"Of course." She said, revealing three intricate metal bracelets.
"Perfect." He took them and slipped them onto his own hand. "Now, to arrange for their return. We have work to do, Anansi." He turned away, walking out of sight. Anansi looked back at the smoke from where Makirika once stood, before turning to follow Snow.

"Phew that was a workout," Mary said stretching before powering down as she turned to Mele, "so what's up with that thing?" she asked.

Mele stepped back to the floor, undoing her own transformation. "That, was a former practitioner of RinJyuken. It's the darker version of our GekiJyuken, feeding on emotions like fear and sadness. The technique he used, however, I have not seen in all my life..." " Jyujin Jashin Hen. A simplified version of our Jyujyu Zenshin Hen." A rather odd creature commented as he approached the pair. "Master Shafu." Mele bowed to him. |

"Ah really," Mary said not really understanding all of that, it was confusing to say the least, but all she needed to know was that thing wasn't a friend and that was all she needed to know. She then saw an odd creature walking towards them as Mary cocked her head to the side, "So...we're raising talking hamsters now?" she asked missing Mele's greeting.

Mele smacked her upside the head as hard as she could. "You watch your tongue around one of the Kensei."
"It's alright, Mele, no violence is necessary." Shafu said. "I am Shafu, one of the seven founders of Jyuken. I created the Tiger-ken you use, as part of my own Felis-ken."

"F**k! The hell is wrong with you?" Mary said wanting to punch her face in as she turned to the hamster who introduced himself, "ah really? I think my sensei did mention a 'Shafu' as my instructor since he no longer can teach me anything," Mary said as she went to greeted him politely in the traditional Chinese martial art greeting, "I'm Mary Brooks," she said.
