Talo's expression narrowed at the implication, his attitude and posture changed slightly. "I b-b-belie-ve the creatures in Det-t-troit would be an example of what Line Ark considers the e-e-enemy. We are mostly following a similar friend or foe to that of the URSA. Th-the only di-difference is that L-Line Ark seeks to give its employees a flexibi-lity that a military organisation is missing." He explained, offering Zack the envelope once more.

"URSA?" Zack thinks for a few moments. "Why does this 'Line Ark' think I'd want to join them?" He turns to pace away to the curb of the road, before pacing back. "You said the information was just from internet profiles." He turns back to Talo.

Talo paused for a moment, recalling what his boss had said. "M-my employer merely wished for me to try." He said, lowering the envelope. It wasn't like Mr Savage hadn't pulled this kind of stunt before, he hoped that Savage wouldn't mind of him coming back empty handed. And then something dawned on him.
"You kn-know, you c-c-can't kill a Fangire right? It's going to keep c-c-coming back."

Zack takes in a sharp breath, before another worker from the restaurant pops his head outside. "Zack, the boss says your break is done."
He sighs softly, nodding his head before looking at Talo. "I have to get back to work. I'll think about it." He moves to pat the man's shoulder, before heading back inside of the building.

Sighing Talo turned back towards the hotel, he had neither refused or accepted the deal, forcing him to stay in the unbearably warm country for a few more days. He could only hope that the Fangire wouldn't rear is head.

Later that night...
Zack walked out onto the rather quiet street. He placed his hands in his pockets and smiled softly to himself, before turning to his left and beginning to walk.
He glanced down each alleyway as he passed them, giving his driver a small pat now and then. "Heh... Maybe I won't be needing you tonight."

Standing above on the roof of a building the base-form of Alteris scanned the operator of Hzo and the Driver itself. It wasn't going to be as detailed as a direct scan but it would serve the purpose.
The core chest piece of Alteris along with its optics had been deliberately darkened to ensure he would remain hidden. In all honesty Talo didn't feel right about this, but money was money.

Zack stopped for a moment, raising an eyebrow. He looks behind him, finding nothing there. He scratches his head lightly. "Could have sworn... Probably nothing."
Behind Talo, however, the sound of something scrapping along the ground can be heard. "That one is mine."

"THREAT DETECTED!" A grating synthetic voice roared through Talo's mind and acting on its pilots impulse its chest piece and optics began to glow. A deep thrum erupted as the main generator began pumping out vast quantities of the particles to fuel itself and with a faint click the pre-inserted Exus memory activated. Spinning round he turned to face the enemy.
"EXUS!" The Driver declared, unleashing a cascading wave of particles to repulse anything that dared to approach whilst Alteris transformed. Across the Riders' body its armor began to glow as it changed color and additional parts slid into place. An instant later its weapons took form, allowing Talo to unleash several bolts of energy from the Exus Sword's Gun mode.

The figure began dashing forwards, avoiding the blasts from Talo's weapon. As it closes in, it brings up a large, sharp scythe-looking weapon and attempts to slash at the Rider's torso with the bladed weapon.
Zack looks up to the buildings at the sound of firing. "Of course I do..." He shakes his head, running into a nearby alleyway and taking out his driver to attach to his waist. As it forms, he pulls out a drive, placing it into the slot as he runs.
The driver spins for a moment. "Flame Form". His armour forms around him, the structures on his back firing up as he takes up into the air.

Flipping into place the colossal Exus Sword met with the Fangire's scythe, energy arcing between the two blades as they clash. The core of the unit roars into life, funneling particles to the blade, sharpening it, allowing it to slowly slice through the weapon.
//Transferring Energy//
With its free hand the Alteris swiped towards the beasts' eyes with its claw, the tips of each finger glow red hot as they went strike, ready the funnel the built up heat outwards, even if it didn't land true. Following up, before he could see the effect of his attack he went to knee the creature.

The Fangire reels back its head to avoid the claw, trying to push away from the Rider. He isn't fast enough to avoid the knee, but all it really seems to do is let it get back further.
Zack, on the other hand, slowly lowers himself onto the building's roof. He looks between Talo and the Fangire, smirking softly under his visor. "Don't mind me. You two work out your differences."
The Fangire turns towards the voice, seemingly distracted for a split second.

Taking advantage of the opening Alteris charges forward, vents opening on its back to create a rings of blue light which push it forward. The drive roars once again as Talo goes to slash at the creature. All the while a holographic image appears on the rear of Alteris head which depicts a middle finger.

The Fangire screams as it notices Talo charging in, just a moment too late as its chest is slashed as he passes. It looks down to its new wound, slowly falling to its knees.
Zack doesn't seem to surprised, continuing to watch with his arms crossed. "That wasn't very fair. He... She... IT. Was distracted."

Without turning the Rider spoke with a synthetically mask voice. "Would you prefer have preferred that I had left it to drain your life energy?" He questioned, his clawed hand reaching towards the Fangire, aiming to pick the creature up by its neck, the units eyes glow red he moves.
"I'm going to presume you burned up most of you energy reserves building this second body of yours so quickly." The rider said as if he was merely stating something than asking the creature.
