Manami couldn't quite figure out what it was for a moment... but when she did, she stopped Manami from bringing her sword down. "Wait a sec!" she shouted. "Something's not right here... Annabelle's struggling, right?" She then looked at the girl. "Then why isn't she making a sound?"

She held the two blades at her side, nudging the suit in the side with a foot, lightly. "Saa na. If she was bound up like this, maybe it was some kind of drug? But I wouldn't have thought drugs could affect her.."

Annabelle stopped cold when Kai's foot touched her. She simply laid there, the only motion of her body being her breathing.

"I doubt Shadows are immune to drugs. Even so, this had to have been some really strong stuff if it's affecting her like this," she told her. "Right now, we shouldn't do anything except give her some water and wait for the drug to wear off."

Kai nods and walks off to get the water, returning with a glass of it a few minutes later. She tries to coax Annabelle's mouth open enough to get her some water..

The hood encasing their teammate's head was implacable. Annabelle stirred slightly at the touch, a soft murmur sliding out.
