Each consecutive blast sent sent Tomoyo backwards and the last one had enough force to force her to her knees as she was now heavily wounded, it hurt and she felt like she was going to lose consciousness, as she looked up to Natsumi. However she had to remain useful, her only existence was to fight, if she stopped fighting then she would cease to have a purpose and that would be the end of her; so in order to do that she had to keep on moving until her heart stopped beating as she gave a loud scream and managed to get on her feet shuffling towards Natsumi.

Tomoyo stumbled and tripped before she gets up again as she felt her power draining, "Not yet..." she said, "not yet...this can't be my grave, not yet," as she gritted her teeth before summoning all of her strength to dash towards Natsumi and slash at her.

She ducks down, letting the slash pass over top of where she was, before giving the berserker a hug. Her armor was a little spikey but it'd serve the purpose. "Stop this. You've fought well, and I have no desire to kill you."

The hug surprised Tomoyo as she gasped and heard the words, nobody had ever hugged her before in her life, she had always been unloved and was never popular. For someone to hug her was...a strange sensation.

It took a moment for Tomoyo to remember where she was and what her mission was as she shook her head, "No...no what are you doing? You're the enemy...this is a battlefield..." as she pushed Natsumi away and pointed the blaster at her as her legs trembled.

"The battle's over." Natsumi said, backing up and turning around, quietly replacing the Sengoku Driver on her waist with the Genesis Driver, the Arms of the other driver remaining. She begins to walk away.

"IT'S NEVER OVER!" Tomoyo screamed as she pulled the trigger, but the shots went wide as her legs gave way and collapsed onto the ground as she struggled to get up, "It's never over...it will never be over," she said to herself.

"Soda: Melon Energy Arms."
With her new weapon, she arcs it high into the air and fires, a melon appearing before splitting off into six energy arrows, falling down to explode in a circle around Tomoyo. "It *is* over. You're a human being, snap out of this. Now."

Tomoyo was having trouble breathing through the pain as her arms trembled when she attempted to get up before the suit shattered and was forced to deactivate as it took too much damage leaving Tomoyo bleeding freely as she panted and managed to get on her knees before beginning to crawl towards Natusmi.

Natsumi turns and walks away. The battle was over, and she didn't need to do anything more.

Tomoyo knew that she wasn't able to finish the fight and that frustrated her as she screamed and dug into the earth, "I'll remember you! I'll kill you! I'll kill you like everything else! I swear it!" she shouted before she collapsed from exhaustion as she had failed in her mission and she didn't know what will happen if she failed in her mission as she went into a fetal position and just cried.

Oh, Natsumi heard it. She'd heard similar promises from other people who's memories lay at her feet. But one doesn't simply kill Zangetsu Shin so easily.
