Miko put her hand on top of Tomo's and smiled back at her. "Thanks. But I don't want to intrude on you and your sister." Miko neglected to mention she needed the room her current apartment offered for training in her free time. It was the main reason she'd moved in.

"Well, if you ever need somewhere to stay, just know that I'm here," she said before taking another drink. "Ah~ That hit the spot!"

"It's good to know." Miko smiled. The neck of her dress wiggled a bit, moving the neckline down a small bit. Miko didn't notice, simply taking another sip.

Tomoko gulped, unsure how to respond to that. Should she be dignified and move the neck back up? Or should she just enjoy what she's seeing right now. All she could do was flag for another drink as she finished the one she had.

Miko simply continued sipping for a moment, before someone screamed behind them. Miko's head snapped around and her first instinct was to leap over the table and prepare to flip it, but she had to see what exactly was going on. A young man ran out of the restaurant, clutching at his collar. It seemed his collar had tightened and was choking him, and when others tried to help him, nothing happened. Just as easily, he was freed, as a strange being stepped out after him. It looked humanoid, but it look more like one of those store-window dressing dummies than a human, with obvious stitching running up and down it's body. It looked around, and the people around it backed away. Miko hopped across to Tomo's side of the table, bracing herself.

Tomoko watched as the creature choked the man, and she instinctively put her arm in front of Miko. She could take a hit better than Miko could without a suit, so it was up to her to make sure her girlfriend was safe. Of course, the problem was also that she wasn't able to overtly use her own powers, since they were in front of a crowd...

The creature saw Miko. Or at least, she assumed it did, as it had no eyes but it's head was facing her. "Oh shit..." Miko muttered. The creature began walking forward slowly, waving a hand. Tomo's jeans spontaneously fused into a single leg, and the being pushed Tomo over, grabbing Miko by the shoulders. Miko's eyes were wide as dinner plates, her muscles frozen. "You.... will do...." The creature spoke in long, raspy phrases, with long pauses. It was a sound nearly indistinguishable from rustling cloth. The monster threw Miko over one shoulder and braced a moment, before leaping up to the top of a nearby building. As soon as it was gone, Tomo's jeans returned to normal.

Tomoko fell over and watched helplessly as the creature took Miko. "Shit!!" she shouted as she got up and ran out the back door of the cafe. She quickly climbed up the wall (thank GOD her powers weren't just tied to the suit) and looked around for any sign of the creature.

There was nothing. In the distance, easily more than 15 blocks, a small shape leapt into the sky.
Miko had noticed that as this thing had traveled, her dress had begun to change. It had barely reached her knees earlier, but now it was having trouble covering her butt. "Where are you taking me?" She asked. The changes her dress was undergoing were scaring her. A lot. "You.... need not.... worry.... you will.... be beautiful...." The monster rasped.

Tomoko had managed to spot the shape, and she quickly activated her Spider-Bracelet, transforming into Spider-Girl and swinging between the buildings. Just hang on, Miko! I'm coming for you!!

The monster was incredibly fast, making it to an old office building fairly quickly. It dropped and ran along the rooftops for the last few, trying to hide it's movement from the pursuers it surely had. Miko's dress had completely vanished by this point. She said or did nothing as the being set her down. "Now... we begin..." It held it's hands out, and threads sprayed out quickly, beginning to form new clothes around Miko's body. It appeared to be a new dress, but not like the one she was wearing, but a larger, floor-length dress.

It didn't take long before Tomoko had lost sight of the creature, and she looked around. "Where are they...? They couldn't have gotten far..." She flipped open her Spider-Bracelet and tried to see if there was anything that would help her find Miko.

Miko watched it form around her. She remembered her phone headset, but didn't try to make a move for it, because she had no clue what would happen. It did have a GPS chip accessible to URSA Intelligence only, though. She was fucked.

Tomoko eventually landed on a building and sighed. How the hell was she gonna find Miko? It wasn't like she knew anyone who was capable of finding her...
And then it hit her. Miko was a member of URSA's Intelligence division, and if they knew anything about her (which, knowing Miko, they probably did) they would be able to trace her. Activating phone, she went to try and contact them, making sure the line went to intelligence.

Arata was sitting in his office working, when the phone rang. He put it on speaker. "Sir, Spider-Girl is calling." "Ah, Miko-kun's girlfriend. Put her on." He paused a moment, waiting for the click. "How's your little night on the town, girls?"
