Ah, drinking. Alcohol, the one person who would never leave him. Well, not person, because drinking a person is just wrong. He took a drink of his scotch and then stared into the liquid for a bit. He set it back on the bar.
"Where did all of this go wrong?" he muttered. He took out a cigarette and lit it, but the bartender yelled at him. "It's a new world! Go look outside! I'm pretty sure me smoking once in your bar isn't going to be a bad thing." The bartender left him alone, for now at least. He should hurry and finish his cigarette...

It was rare that Saori had to do a photoshoot outside of Japan, but her manager had told her that leaving the country every once in a while, especially when it comes to her work, would both be good for her personally as well as good for her wallet. Never mind that it was a little warmer here than it was in Hokkaido, but at least this bar was cold enough for her to not have any complaints. Sitting at the bar, she asked for whiskey, as cold as it was possible to make it.

He put his cigarette out and took another drink. "You know," he told the bartender, "America, Europe, turns out that scotch is scotch. Yours is just overpriced..."

"If you got a problem with it, then order something else or leave," Saori said as her whiskey came. She took a sip of the beverage, but didn't bother to look at the man who was complaining about the scotch.

"Maybe you should respect your elders," he told her.

Saori actually chuckled a bit, as if that statement was funny to her. Oh, if only you knew... she told herself. She had been living probably five times as long as this guy, after all. If he had known what she was, he would have been the one respecting her.

"You don't even look old enough to be drinking..."

"I'm twenty-six, I'm pretty sure that's past the legal drinking age here." Of course, she was lying about her age... by a factor of ten, but no one here needed to know that.

"It's because I'm Asian. We don't age."

"Now, if I said that, it would be racist."

"Well it's a good thing I said it," she said before taking another sip of her whiskey.

"Now that you've said it, I can say it. It's not racist either at this point."

"Yeah, so when I someday get hit by an Asian or someone defending one, I'm blaming you."
