Overview: A talented and dedicated former police officer Ken isn’t above fighting for justice or what he believes in. He has a slight tendency to be arrogant towards those who can’t figure out simple problems and those who fall for scams. However he is an alcoholic that stems from his time as a detective when his partner was killed, he works to solve that one mystery that has eluded him and he spends time going over the case in the vain attempt at finding a solution.

History
Coming from a long line of police officers Ken had always known that his duty is to the law and the citizens that protect it. He worked hard to become a police officer worthy of the Motai name and it was perhaps from this dedication that came his arrogance when he came onto the police force, he believed that he would go to great heights and that it wouldn’t take long for him to become a detective that would protect the world.
He’s quick mind, marksmenship, and natural leadership capabilities quickly landed him in the Special Assault Team. Japan’s anti-terrorism task force and he successfully led teams into terrorist hideouts where he quickly snuffed them out either through force or brutal tactics that others cringed at. However he rationalized that in order to defeat evil extreme tactics were needed, the only one that argued against that was his second-in-command who believed that there were other ways to protect the innocent.
This led him to ask the higher ups to transfer his second-in-command as he could not abide with an insubordinate person, however before that could happen his team was tasked with taking down a terrorist cell that had cropped up in Japan. The execution was flawless and they nearly had the terrorists, however in a twist of fate his second-in-command shielded him from an attack by one of his own members as Ken fired back.
His partner died in his arm and a subsequent investigation yielded no answers other than that Ken must have made an error somewhere and shot his own members by mistake. This led to Ken going to the bottle where he spent a year unemployed as he resigned from the police force believing that they were covering something up, his own investigation yielded nothing and he was about to give up when URSA approached him. They needed a field commander that would fight until the end against enemies of the world and Ken fit the bill, he initially refused as he was a washed out police officer, but URSA insisted and wanted to aid him in his investigation.
Believing that URSA might be the key to helping Ken unlock the mysteries surrounding his partner’s death he accepted and became the wielder of the improved G4 system as well as becoming one of it’s field commanders.
