Something went horribly, horribly wrong.
Infamous intergalactic criminal "Agent" Abrella had attacked the Chronos Institute and Time Preservation Department headquarters, The "Blue Box".
He and twelve other "Chronal Renegades" hijacked an experiment ship and used it to travel back through time.
A group of seven highly trained TPD specialists, known collectively as the Timerangers, took the only other ship and went in pursuit.
It was there, in the timestream, that something.. happened..
An intense blue flare from the first ship engulfed the second.
The thirteen Renegades and six Timerangers are then separated throughout time...

Kaede's eyes fluttered open, her vision being blurry, much like her memory of what happened before she wound up... wherever she was. It took her a second for her to realize it was kind of cold in the pod... and that's when she realized that she was completely naked. Once that realization hit, everything was coming back to her -- the experiment, what had happened... And even if she became that monster, she saw every second of everything that happened. She was dangerous, and probably shouldn't be let out of here.
But that was out of the question, now wasn't it? With as much force as she could, Kaede thrust her fist forward, shattering the glass of her stasis casing. Reaching down for the lock, she opened it up and stepped out.
"Where... am I?" she asked herself, starting to walk... and falling straight to the ground. Okay, so she still needed to get her motor skills back to working order... she only hoped that someone didn't see her like this...

As soon as Kaede's senses adjusted after being frozen for so long, she could see that her stasis pod was no longer connected to any sort of wall, but was now in the middle of a rather large field.
It was no empty field as hundreds of people wearing strange bright clothing walked about. Several stages were set up by as bands played songs of peace and love.
"Kudos on coming in your birthday suit," nodded one hippie woman in approval as she passed by, "The man tries to oppress us sisters by making us clothing when there is nothing disgusting about the female body! Naked liberation for all women!"
Another commented on her pod, "Dude, sweet ride."

"Um... thanks?" Kaede asked in English, after a moment of trying to recognize the language. If there was one thing she was good at pre-experiment, it was foreign languages. "Where am I exactly?"

"Wow, you must be really baked," laughed the hippie guy, "You're in Woodstock! The festival of peace, love, and happiness! Three whole days without having the man keepin' you down!"
He then tore off his own shirt and dived into a nearby ground screaming "WOODSTOCK, YEAH!!!"
"Hey Bobby, did you see that light earlier? That was totally a temporal vortex!" said one hippie to his friend as they walked by.
The other hippie shook his head, "Nah, man. It was just a trick of the light. You watch too much Star Trek."
A red headed woman nodded in agreement.

"Right... Thank you!" she said, before walking off. Woodstock...? I'll find out later, I guess. Right now, I need clothes.

A man with a very prominent pompadour, sunglasses (with pink shades), and a Hawaiian shirt was leaning against his decked out van, that read "Hawaii or Bust, Baby!" on the side.
He was strumming his guitar when he noticed a very naked Kaede walking around like she was in some sort of daze.
"Hey there, baby," he called out to her, "You look chilly. Need some new threads?"

"Oh! Yes please," Kaede said, smiling. "That is, if you have anything I could wear..."

"Don't worry about it, baby," he shook his head before looking her up and down, "You seem to be the size of my ex girl-friend. I have some of her things still in my van, she won't miss them."
He hopped up before going to open up the back.
"Come over and pick something out. Better hurry though, she could be by any minute," he said, "Word of advice, never break up with your ex at a festival. It gets awkward."

"I'll keep that in mind!" Kaede told him, laughing as she looked for something to wear. Eventually she found a tie-die shirt and some jeans, along with a headband.

"Looks good on you, baby," the man nodded in approval before flashing a thumbs up, "Mind if I ask why you were walking around like that? Not that I didn't appreciate the sight."

"It's a long story..." she told him, shrugging.

He crossed his arms, nodding his head, "I feel that. Sometimes you just have to keep things to do your self. I'm Urashima Taro by the way or Taro Urashima, or just Taro if you prefer. American born and bred, but with Japanese roots. I assume the same can be said for you?"

"Kaede Mizushima... And no, I've just studied the language a lot," she told him as she put on her clothes. "Thanks for this, by the way."

"No problem, baby," Taro grinned, "If you can't help a poor defenseless woman, then you're no man at all - at least that's my philosophy." He began to strum his guitar again. "Care to a listen to a tune? Music does the have the power to soothe the soul after all." "I'm afraid she'll have to take a rain-check on that," said the grim looking man in the TPD uniform breathing down her neck.
