History
Joel comes from quite a modest background. The family Florian were average people living in an average neighbourhood in average Geneva. He was about six when the war began. Nowhere, not even Switzerland, was safe from the onslaught of Shin-Shocker.
Joel counted himself among the “lucky few” whose close family were fortunate enough to not die in battle or get blown up. Nevertheless, he and his family felt the effects of the war when their family home was destroyed by suicide troops. Left with next to nothing, the Florians had to do a lot of rebuilding in the aftermath of the conflict. Soon enough, they were back on their feet, and life continued as normal.
Joel soon left the nest and got settled in an apartment in Zurich. It was awesome, but he got bored very easily, so he turned to vlogging and making videos to stem the flow of boredom. They were about various things, but mostly anime and MMO related stuff. Once, he even filmed himself stumbling on the remains of an ancient temple and picking up a crystal sphere that granted him extraordinary power. It’s his most viewed video.
Of course, it didn’t take long for men in black suits to find him, so he was forced to pack up and leave in the middle of the night to join the circus…I mean Tyr, who were quite happy to take him in.
