Overview:
Hyun is a silent girl that doesn't talk much, well she can't talk anyways, but she doesn't like to interact with people unless she has to. She prefers the company of her ravens and she talks to them daily as though they are real people and she adores them to the point of taking care of them through regular brushing and feeding them with whatever she can scavange from pet shops. She has lived most of her life in a mental asylum and as expected she hates it as well as psychiatrists as they tried to denounce her psychic abilities and called her insane; she also hates people who call her insane or crazy and gets very angry if people continue to call her that.

She believes that she is the only one who can turn back the entire Zangyack fleet due to her immense psychic abilities and thinks that other Rangers are not suited to the task. Therefore she doesn't like to work with them and will only do so if she thinks that they will be useful with her current situation. Because of her psychic abilities she is frequently plagued by visions of the future, usually apocalyptic in nature, and she tries to discern if she can somehow exploit her vision in order to stop the invasion.

Because of her vision she hates Zangyack and anyone associated with them displaying a sadistic pleasure in tormenting them before killing them. Anyone who she believes to be helping the enemy will not be shown mercy and she is known to be violent towards her enemies and will not relent until they are dead at her feet.

She then says, “Suffer in agony,” before pulling the whip hard as the swords pierce the cocoon and the enemy inside of it before the whole thing explodes violently as a precautionary technique.

History

Hyun was born with tremendous psychic powers, the daughter of a psychiatrist she often told her father about problems that the patients never divulged to him. This is done by reading their minds and getting visions of what they weren't telling her father, her father did not believe his daughter and thought that she was lying or just making it up. She tried to suppress her psychic powers because of this and believed that perhaps she was imagining things, but her powers grew with each passing year and she was able to see things vividly and clearly sometimes without her even realising it.

When she was 12 she suffered a horrific nightmare where she dreamt that the earth was under attack by monsters and spaceships. She saw entire cities burn and people being enslaved or worse, she woke up screaming and believed that what she saw was the future. She told anyone and everyone that would listen to her, but nobody believed her and her father soon put her into a mental asylum believing that she had gone insane. The visions continued becoming more horrific with each passing year and Hyun soon grew insane as well believing that she must have a purpose if she was having these visions and continued to tell everyone that an alien army was coming.

Of course nobody believed her and she was soon put into an isolated ward where her interaction with people became nil and she soon lost the ability to speak and became a zombie, only doing things when told to do it, the only companion that she had was a raven that was kept in the facility. She often talked to it through telepathy and even though the replies were often jumbled up and incoherent she enjoyed it the conversation nonetheless and began to turn away from people.

When Zangyack did invade her father was horrified that her daughter could see the future. When people began probing into how Hyun was able to predict the future he vigorous eliminated all evidence of Hyun's visions and made it as though she never had it in the first place. After the invasion there was a riot in the facility and her father was killed while Hyun was released, being able to fend off any attackers with her psychic abilities as she escaped and ran away. It was soon after that a man went to her and told her that she was to inherit a great power, that she would be earth's defender.

This man was also a scientist from a conquered planet, but unlike his companion he was more loose in his experimentations and he conducted illegal experiments with the element of darkness. He went to earth looking for an appropriate host and found one in Hyun believing her to be the only one capable of utilising the powers he had discovered.
