Overview:
Kiriha is a good man who is sick of seeing the world in turmoil. He knows the harsh truths of the world, and that it'll be like this, and that he can do nothing about it. He's willing to live with that despair and not try to see the world as something that it's not. But it does get to him. He tries to fight the depression and just move forward.
He's intelligent and knows what he's doing, but he's not cocky nor full of himself. If things were different, then maybe he would be. He knows that in this world that being that way will possibly get you killed, or at least be a burden on everyone else. People need to come together, and acting cocky or something isn't helping that in any way.
He's willing to sacrifice anything he can for the good of the whole. Except his life, unless there's no other way. He believes that by living he can get farther, and can be of more help in saving other lives as a doctor. He chose this path just for the sake of being useful, as he knew he couldn't be a fighter or anything like that. At one point he was content with just being a doctor, but the appearance of the Inves and their disease forced him to be on the front lines, no matter how dangerous it would be.
He doesn't find that he does much in his life, because a personal life isn't important in the grand scheme of things, at least not for him. When he does find time he usually fills it with some reading, tea or alcohol, and music (usually smooth jazz). However, his mind usually goes back to the fight at hand and pulls him out, back to reality.
He's torn apart on the inside, trying to find a balance. If he focuses too much on URSA and the monsters and his new responsibilities, he feels like he'll break down. He needs to find that balance so he can continue and have a proper life, while giving everything that he can. Spending time with Akane helps him with that, at least.
Since joining URSA he's trained a little in fighting, but isn't very good. A great advantage he ha is that he keeps calm in all situations, and is able to think things through instead of acting rashly, which helps in combat and in saving lives and really everything in the field and in those stressful situations.
He can also speak English, and is in the process of studying French.

Fighting Style: He comes up with it on the fly for the most part, since he's not a fighter by nature. He favors his mechanical arm for sheer power.
Weapons:
Claw Arm: His primary weapon, as pictured. A large silver claw, hooked into his armor, giving him some support by siphoning power from the arm when needed, through the suit alone, however, not his actual body.
Rope Arm: A rounded node that replaces the hand, the rest is like his normal arm. It ends in a hook for grappling, which can also be used as a weapon. The end can be modified with a rounded node that launches off like a net.
Sickle Arm: A scythe-like arm. The arm from the elbow to the hand is normal, but it ends in an enlarged end with the scythe end.
Power Arm: Normal until nearly the wrist, which is then a large rounded node with a large crescent blade coming up, one end longer than the other. Primarily used for offense.
Drill Arm: Normal until about halfway between the wrist and elbow, then it becomes a large drill that functions off of an internal power source within this specific arm. Powerful and fast, but it burns out in about five minutes of constant use at the lowest speed and power settings.
Machine Gun Arm: A machine gun that comes out at around the same spot as the Drill. It runs on an ammo clip wrapped around his arm. About two hundred shots before he has to strap the new belt of ammo on.
Flail Arm: A large rounded ended arm with a spiked ball at the end, with a strong cord on the inside for launching it out and swinging it around.
Abilities:He can replace his arm, his helmet has a tactical HUD. His arms spawn from his belt as he passes them over the front of it.

History
Kiriha was born towards the end of the war, and fortunately his family never had any difficulties with it. He was brought up in a world after the war, a world that was rebuilding and free of threat. Life wasn't bad when growing up, and he had friends and the love of his parents, being an only child.
He started through school, and then high school, no problem. As he grew up he needed a plan for his life. He decided to try the medical field. While there he became friends with Akane Himura. Towards the middle or so of his time in medical school, monsters began to return to the world. He figured this was indeed the right path, because he was going to be able to help. He graduated and became a doctor, since the need just rose.
Due to the Inves attacks and the virus that they carried, he got sick of not being able to do anything. No cure was available, and there was nothing that could be done. He abandoned the hospital and went to URSA, wanting to be on the front lines and helping there, instead of helping after the fact.
Due to his medical expertise, he was made into a medic, but wanted more. He signed up to be a field medic, since there was a lack of those who would be willing to be a medic on the front lines. As a result of this position, he was also lumped in as a ZECTrooper, like he wanted, so he could help protect himself and get his job done.
That's where he is now, fighting as a ZECTrooper for URSA and acting as a medic in order to try to help the most people possible.
