Overview:
The man Kaito used to be is far from important. To sum him up, he was a man with a great sense of honor and duty, someone who wouldn’t back down, and fought for a righteous cause. He was cold, but he cared.
He’s still like this, but he no longer cares, and that’s what sets him apart from the man he once was. He’s cold and acts emotionless, showing no care for what becomes of others, so long as his own agenda can advance forward. Yet despite his selfish nature, he holds some semblance of honor, although it’s not as it once was. It primarily lies in fair and equal fights. He finds no solace in outmatched fights, because he gets no challenge.
He’s driven to become stronger, and doesn’t stop in his pursuit of anything. He acts ruthless in order to get what he wants, and should he fail, he’ll come back even stronger. However, he won’t resort to dishonest tactics or dropping his honor, should it be a fight. He’s proud, like the lion, and his pride keeps him from fighting unfair fights.
He keeps to himself and has divorced himself from all elements of his former life. He has no need to go back, and is not nostalgic in any way. He doesn’t look back. He faces forward and only moves forward. There is nothing in his past.
He’s a fast learner and commits everything to memory rather quickly. He’s able to learn new Lion Ken and any others that he is taught rather quickly, and is able to swiftly start putting together combinations of various styles for battle tactics.
When he enters battle he fights forward, and doesn’t often plan out his battle in advance. He can be a good tactician, however, but it’s not his style. Should he be leading or helping to lead a group, then he’ll do it, but when he fights on his own, there’s no reason.
He shows little mercy to those he defeats, no matter who they are. He won’t defeat you, then kill you, because that wouldn’t be honorable. He won’t help you, and he may choose to walk away and let anyone else on his side do what they will, instead of keeping them back/at bay. If you earn his respect, he’ll help you, however.
In his cold sense of honor, if you do something for him, he’ll also owe you, no matter who you are. He’ll do anything within his power/within reason to pay his debt.

History
He was born the older brother of *, children of a Penguin Ken mother and a * Ken father. Kaito was brought up to take over one of the styles and keep it alive within the family, while his sister was presumably going to learn the other. Kaito chose otherwise.
As Kaito started to learn Geki Jyuken, he chose another path. He found far more similarities to himself in Lion Ken. He abandoned his parents’ wishes and continued on with his practices. He wanted to be the strongest, he wanted power. He wanted to learn other styles as well, and considered going to his parents to learn one of their styles.
For a time he studied some Penguin Ken, and incorporated it into his fighting style, but it became overshadowed by his Lion Ken studies.
He grew apart from his sister, and more and more enveloped in his training. Soon he became obsessed with more, beyond the range of Geki Jyuken training. He saw the revival of Rin Jyuken as the way to go, and abandoned Geki Jyuken’s teachings, going over to serve Snow instead.
He kept his GekiChangers and the lessons he learned, but added to them with the teachings of Rin Jyuken, all in the pursuit of even greater power.
