Steph felt her calmest on her surfboard amongst the waves. Up and down, down and up. All the little problems of life just melted away leaving only her, the board, and the infinite vastness of the ocean.
It was night here in Sydney and she found herself all alone on this particular beach. She didn't mind it as long as she had the crashing waves to keep her company.

The Land Down Under. Addy was staying in a hotel here for a few weeks. Mostly to shoot some video that sported an annoyingly bad pun on the country's nickname as the title, but also because she liked being away from America. Trying day in and day out to get a decently respectable acting job back in LA was exhausting, and she needed a break. Australia seemed like a nice place to take such a break.
She was having trouble sleeping, so she was here, out on the beach. She had a micro-bikini, but why wear a bikini when no one else is around? She'd brought the thing with her, but she wasn't wearing it. She floated on her back, a little ways out, looking up at the stars.

Stepth became dimly aware that she wasn't alone anymore, especially when she become surrounded by an eerie fog and a hand reached out for her.
Normally she was cool under pressure, but even something this sudden surprised the hell out of her and she screamed.

Addy didn't notice much wrong at first. It took her a moment to realize it was a little harder to see the stars, before she heard the scream. A number of thoughts ran through her head, and not a single one of them was "go put that bikini on before you save someone stark naked". She immediately began swimming in the direction of the scream. If she'd had something solid in the vicinity, she could have gone a lot faster, but the middle of the ocean tends not to have much in the way of solid objects for her to spring off of.

"Such a..wonderful scream.." laughed a feminine yet at the same time deeply inhuman voice in the mist.
"Who are you?" demanded Stephanie looking all around her as the mist robbed her of her vision.
She tried fighting her way out of it, but an invisible force seemed to be holding her back.

"Hello?" Addy called, treading water for a moment. The water seemed to be getting a tiny bit colder, but Addy brushed it off as fear. She kept swimming in the direction she'd heard the scream from.

The eerie voice's laugh filled her ears, but even if Addison was close she wouldn't be able to hear it herself.
"I am a creature of the sea..much like yourself. We are kindred spirits..you and I.."
"You don't know anything about me," she spat, "Now let me go!"

Addy heard another voice. It sounded female, and it sounded really mad. She began swimming towards the new voice, stopping after a little bit. "Hello? Are you okay?" She yelled again. She didn't want to be chasing ghosts on her relaxing skinny-dipping time.

Steph was completely cut off from the outside world so she wasn't able to hear Addison or even the waves she loved so much.
"No need to fight back.." chuckled the voice, "It will all be over soon.."
It was then that Steph managed to whip out her G-Phone and transform in a blaze of blue light, the mist vanishing completely, leaving her transformed on the beach.

Addy saw something flash blue, and saw someone standing in the beach in spandex. Wait, no, it looked like... a shark? It looked kinda familiar, but she had no clue where it was from. She began swimming back to shore, towards where she'd left her stuff.

Still in her transformed state, she fell back down onto the sandy beach and sighed, "What was all of that about?"

Addy quickly pulled her micro bikini on. It only just ever-so-slightly covered the important stuff, but at least it was better than being naked. If only a tiny bit. She jogged over to the blue armored person, able to see it was a woman upon closer inspection.
"You okay? I heard screaming." She asked.
