Strengths:
- Hideki is well trained with a standard sword, which makes his skill ideal for using the Kaixa Gear.
- Due to his job as a simple Bike Messenger, he is good at making a quick escape when the going gets tough. Fast on his feet and even faster if he knows the area, Hideki can escape if the odds are against him.
- Hideki knows how people work and how to make their cogs turn, due to having to beg borrow and steal his way to a semi successful livestyle. He is adept at the pattern of humans and is fond of making them dance to his own rhythm.
Weaknesses:
- Hideki is powerless without Kaixa Gear's belt attached to his body. He spends most of his time trying to hide his belt under his clothes for quick access, but if it is removed, his body will weaken and even the task of walking becomes a challenge.
- Hideki is easily slighted and never lets a grudge die. He will chase someone to the ends of the earth or even further just to get revenge. This blindsightedness makes him easy to find and even easier to draw out.
- Hideki won't leave a situation until he feels it is finished. This stubborn rockheadedness may possibly get him killed, due to underestimating an opponent.

- Hideki's goal is to defeat and destroy every Orphanoch. He is driven to complete this goal alone, as was reinforced during the experimentation.

- Hideki has a tendency to shake his left leg out after performing his Rider Kick, as well as shake out his arm if he uses a strong punch. It helps them feel better.

Overview:
Hideki is very much a man looking out for himself and only himself. He doesn't care about anyone else and doesn't like to take sides, preferring to keep his loyalities hidden. He serves as a bike messenger to earn money for his simple life, while using the Kaixa Gear to eliminate stray Orphanochs, never going for any larger groups. It would be stupid to face them head on.
He doesn't care for teamwork, or cooperation in any form and will fight anyone who tries to come between him and his mark. His mind focuses to the point of a knife when he is in combat, only wanting to eliminate the Orphanoch in front of him. He hates his body, due to the implanted Orphanoch blood that is needed to operate the Kaixa Gear, but he understands the sacrifice he has to make. Firmly convinced of his humanity, he fights not to protect mankind, but to assert his dominance as the strongest.

History
Hideki Sato was born to his mother and father and grew to the tender age of 5 without any complications. Then, during the research into Orphanochs that his mother and father were doing, they found themselves able to do more than what the previous holders of the Gears did. They were able to infuse the blood of an Orphanoch, allowing the human to use the Gear themselves.
Hideki wasn't originally part of the project, but when their first 10 test subjects died, while a further 5 were driven insane, it left them with no further options. When he turned 10, he was taken to the lab his parents worked at and then transfused with blood of an Orphanoch. Unlike the limited amount of DNA that the body was implanted with, this was theoretically infinite.
Hideki kept his sanity and his mind and felt no different. The Kaixa Gear that had spurred their research was dug out and used on the boy and it worked. The belt recognized him as an Orphanoch. When the belt was removed however, the boy felt weak. It was devised that the belt needed to be a part of him from now on. Hideki wore the belt, feeling comforted by its presence, while continuing to be taught and trained how to use the Kaixa Gear.
One of the crazed experiments transformed into an Orphanoch and broke out, stealing Kaixa Gear from the boy and escaping. His father and mother went after the crazed man, while Hideki fell into unconsciousness, not used to loosing the belt's comforting embrace.
Soon after, the Gear was returned to him by unknown forces. He awoke with the gear in the abandoned laboratory, escaping out to the real world and taking up residence in a small apartment. He waits for the Orphanochs to rear their head again, so he may strike them down, as he was commanded to by his father and mother.
