Inner Stuff
Likes:
- His Animals, especially Hawk
- Coffee
- Playing his keytar
- Music
Dislikes:
- Monsters
- Bad coffee
- Needles
Strengths:
- He has two separate Changeling abilities (Crown's hasn't manifested yet for some odd reason). He can create a pair of massive wings from his back, and he has a syrinx instead of a larynx, allowing him to imitate almost any voice or sound he's ever heard
- Very skilled in combat, especially with swords
- Rather energetic.
- Very musical, a master guitarist and singer and very skilled music writer
Weaknesses:
- Practically addicted to coffee. He drinks no less than 5 travel mug's worth a day.
- Rarely gets sleep due to the above
- Rarely gets shots due to his needle fear.
- No matter how much he trains, he has trouble with endurance. He goes down easy.
Goal(s):
- Start a band.
Habits/ Quirks:
- Always has a travel mug with coffee in it on or very near his person
Relationships:
- Elle, Addy, Stephanie - Teammates
- Seymour- His mentor, the man who truly raised him
Overview: Rhett is a bit of an enigma. He's very social, a very gregarious person, but he has periods when he just needs solitude. He's usually quite a friendly person, but at times, he turns into a complete antisocial dickmuffin. His antisocial periods are pretty easily correlated to the times he doesn't get enough caffeine in his system. He's pretty much addicted to coffee, and due to his large intake, he's pretty much tweaking 24/7, or at least it seems like it due to the amount of excess energy he has. He fancies himself a womanizer, and often plays his keytar in clubs as a way to earn some extra cash. He also has extreme trypanophobia (fear of needles) due to a bad childhood experience. As such, he can’t get shots.
Hero Stuff
Name: GaoWing
Type Of Hero: Gaoranger
Henshin Device: The G-Palms, a pair of white and gold gloves, with the thumb, index and middle fingers being the only ones that are not fingerless. There are insignias representing his three birds on the back of each hand.
Henshin Sequence: He crosses his hands over his chest, with his ring and pinky fingers curled in and other fingers extended. He announces “Gao Access!” and snaps his arms down and out, causing a pair of golden energy wings to form behind him. Said wings wrap around him, forming his suit.
Forms:
- Form Name: GaoWing
Image/ Description: Helmet design is similar to GaoYellow, but there are two short pronounced wing-like protrusions on the sides. His armor is mostly gold, similar in basic design to GaoYellow but with a stylized hawk head as the chest insignia. He has gold patterns on his hands similar to his Palms.
Motif: Birds, Hawk
Color Scheme: Gold, Dull gold, White, Black
Transformation: See above
Fighting Style: He uses a very acrobatic style, flipping and bouncing off of things. He really has no specific propensity for close or long range weapons, so he switches off between the two fairly often.
Weapons: The Hawken, a double-edged longsword with slots for three GaoJewels at the base of the blade. He can also pull feathers from his “wings” and use them as explosive darts.
Abilities: In addition to his natural enhanced abilities, he has larger versions of GaoYellow's wings. They also manifest separate from his arms.
Finisher(s): Hawk Sweep- Performed with the Hawk Jewel, the blade of the Hawken extends infinitely and he cleaves the enemy in half.
Crown Kill- Performed with the Crown Jewel, the blade of the Hawken extends and he goes for a stab.
Sparrow Winger- Performed with the Sparrow Jewel and the Hawken, he leaps into the air, extends his wings and swoops toward the enemy, cleaving them in half.
Angel Crash- His ultimate finisher, he puts all three jewels into the Hawken and takes off. He flies way up and drops from the sky, cleaving the target in half. He can use this technique to kill powerful enemies, but he is forced out of transformation when he finishes.

The saber-like attachments on Sparrow’s wings are popped off and reattached to the forearms, while the rest of the small bird folds into a helmet.

History
Rhett was raised in a single parent household with his mother, who was a heroin addict and was never really there for Rhett. He was truly raised by his neighbor, Seymour Wilkins, an old man who had been a band director for the local high school in his younger years, but in his golden years, had developed a passion for hawking. He taught Rhett everything a good parent should have taught him, including basic morals, and also sparked a young Rhett's interest in music. He went home as a young child to often find his mother passed out with dirty needles scattered around the apartment. Eventually, at Seymour’s request, he moved in with the older man, since his actual home was not in any way fit for a 6 year old child. This high presence of needles also planted the seeds of what would grow into adult Rhett’s full-blown trypanophobia. His mother died of an overdose about two weeks later, and Rhett was adopted by his aunt and her husband at the age of 7.
Rhett's interest in music blossomed about two weeks after moving in with his aunt. He moved through a few instruments before seeming to settle on the guitar. He learned for several years, and when he was in his 8th grade year, his old mentor Seymour showed up again. He told Rhett he had contracted terminal leukemia, and was dying. His last wish was to teach Rhett all he knew about birds, which he did in four months before dying. He left Rhett all of his hawking materials and notes in his will.
In his ninth grade year, he started a hawking club at his school. He found he seemed to have a natural gift with birds, as some people said he could almost speak to them. He found a hawk with a broken wing on the side of the road, and nursed it back to health in a month and half, which was record time according to the local vet. At this point, his aunt and her husband started getting a little nasty with each other and divorced within six months. She remarried quickly to a man who taught sword combat, and he gave Rhett free lessons in the basics. Rhett took to swords almost naturally as well, and soon could hold his own against his new father figure. However, due to this new marriage also getting kind of rocky and his needs to manage his schools shockingly popular hawking club, he broke it off. He kept his skills up in what little free time he had though.
When he was 18, he left to go to Juilliard on a 2-year scholarship due to his keytar and music-writing skills. Due to the insane workload, he developed a bit of a coffee addiction. He wrote it off by saying at least it wasn’t Adderall. He also discovered his Changeling abilities after a series of dreams in which Hawk was communicating with him. Not long after, he received his G-Palms from Hawk. He dropped out of Juilliard and began writing and recording his own music, becoming somewhat successful in the indie scene. He at least made enough money so he wasn't a starving artist. As he traveled for his music, he found Sparrow and Crown and developed his second Changeling ability, which greatly helped his music all career. Hawk told him about the other Changelings, and Rhett decided to try and find them the best way he knew how; Craigslist.
