Overview:
In part due to having lost people close to her as a result of crime, Marcela has a strong sense of justice that on one hand means she cannot be corrupted or swayed by honeyed words. On the other hand, that type of mindset also makes her extremely stubborn and sometimes slow to sway her opinion, particularly when it comes to decisions regarding more pragmatic options over the right ones. Because of her past, she is also a bit slow to trust people and can be rather distant at times, though eventually she’ll start to warm up to them.
She is a talented investigator, analyzing the situation at hand and can utilize whatever resources are available to pursue a lead on a case. However she has not had much experience in regards to combat, and her duties as a Dekaranger tends to have her in more combat related compared to her previous role in the Federales.

The helmet always comes after the basesuit and weapons, so that an officer whose morpher is malfunctioning can still acquire some form of armor and weaponry.

Abilities: The Deka Suits are amade of a flexible clothlike metal called Deka Metal which allows for limited limited bulletproofing as well as limited impact armoring. It also somewhat increases the officer’s innate abilities and reports their vital signs both to DekaBase and, with some scrolling/searching, the SP Badge. On top of abilities listed above, the SP Badge allows the user to judge criminals by sending all available evidence to the Psychic Judge Network who will attach jeopardy and deliver the verdict in exactly five seconds, can send arrested individuals to the Null Void (or other less permanent, act as a communicator, keep notes and audio/visual recordings of evidence, receive Execute And Delete orders, access police records, use Masquerade Mode to create disguises, and be used as an actual police badge (though actual metal badges are given out).

History
At a young age, Marcela lost her mother in the crossfire of a shootout between rival cartels. Such an event ultimately became the driving force towards her choosing a career as a police officer, to ensure no one else would have to lose someone to a senseless crime. Originally poised to join her hometown’s local police force, the high grades she received in the academy managed to get her instead assigned to Mexico’s national police force, the Policia Federal.
Initially excited at the prospect of joining the Federales, Marcela soon found herself at odds with the numerous corrupt officers and agents who were on the take of the cartels and other criminal organizations. Nevertheless, she was determined to make something of a difference as she was assigned to the Investigations division, which was responsible for managing and facilitating the investigation of numerous cases from drug trafficking to kidnapping through cooperation with local law enforcement agencies. During this time, she became acquainted with one of her fellow officers in the division who shared her same sense of justice and became fast friends and partners.
However, this would not last. Some time after the Zangyack invasion, she and her partner were assigned to a case involving the possible trafficking of Zangyack tech and weaponry to the cartels. Upon digging deeper, the two found out that several Federales were involved in the whole affair. Thanks to a mole within the investigations division, they conspired to take out the two interlopers before they could break the case open and lured them into an ambush that resulted in the death of Marcela’s partner. She resigned from the Federales in disgust after the incident, and shortly thereafter was approached by a representative of the Special Police Dekaranger. The rest is as they say, history, although she is still driven to bring the ones responsible for killing her partner to justice.
