The only thing that Yasmin cares in this world is money. Money makes the world go round and money is what everyone needs in order to stay at the top of the game and she will become the richest person in the world so that she would never again have to feel what it is like to be at the bottom of the food chain. She will do anything to get money and prestige and if that means becoming dirty then so be it, she would rather sell her soul to the devil than be some goody-two shoes and be poor.
However she isn't like your average dirty cop as she is smart as she is beautiful. She is able to manipulate people to do her bidding and she is smart enough to know when to back off. This has enabled her to stay off the corruption radar and evade any attempts to implicate her in any corruption dealings.
In her spare time she likes to sing and dance because of her former dream of being a star and it also helps her to relax after a long day at work.

History
Born in extreme poverty Yasmin's life was full of hardship, she didn't have much in terms of friends as she was always busy trying to help out her family get some food on the table. However her luck began to change when she was able to enrol into a free school
that the government was and she was found to excel in all of the work set for her; further testing proved that she was highly intelligent and her talents were wasted in a government-funded school. She was quickly put into a school that catered to intelligent people and it was there that she realised the meaning of prestige and wealth. As time went on and she continued with her schooling she began to realise the gap between the rich and the poor and she knew where she wanted to stand in that line, she never again wanted to be in poverty, never again did she want to be a poor person. She would get money and become a rich person so that she would be able to live in wealth and luxury.
Therefore she began to take up singing and dancing lessons as she originally wanted to a singing star since they get a lot of money. However she found the routines tedious and it was more or less memorising the lyrics and routines and therefore a waste of her intelligence; one of the teachers then suggested, albeit jokingly, that she go into law enforcement as they would benefit greatly from her mind.
Yasmine thought about this and agreed that being a law enforcement officer, perhaps even a lawyer, would earn her a decent amount of money and if she saved enough of it she could even fulfill her dream. And therefore from that moment on she devoted all her time with the goal of becoming a police officer and she originally was a good officer, doing what her duties entailed her to do and refusing any illegal means.
But then her obsession with wealth slowly corrupted her and she began to see all this money that was being taken away from criminals and seemingly not taken back to the government. She began to question if she was doing things the right way and whether this will be able to make her dream come true. She began to do dirty dealings and stealing money from drug siezures and whatnot in order to supplement her income, she was smart and used her brain to evade capture from the corruption watchdogs.
Her track record and intelligence eventually earned her a spot in the Federal Police where she had an even wider range of targets to pick and she began to accumulate a sizeable illegal amount of money. Her dream was slowly coming to fruition and she was sure that eventually she would be able to live the life she always wanted, her own little paradise, and when the convergence began she was chosen to become DekaSwan as she finally found another way to increase her prestige and therefore her targets.
