Overview: Ellen Trager (she kept the last name because she likes the sound of it) is a tough as nails cop, but doesn't always play by the rules. She plays by her rules, and as long as innocent civilians aren't involved, she'll allow her squad to do whatever is necessary to bring down an alien threat. She doesn't really socialize that much and keeps things strictly professional with her co-workers, not wishing to repeat the tragedy that was her last marriage.
She wasn't always like this. She used to be a kind and caring free spirit until a certain incident during her Marine days that made her cold and hard.. It was then that a wedge began to form between her and her husband that would eventually lead to their split. It was that incident that made her realize how cruel the world beyond truly is..
Hero Stuff

Henshin Device: The SWAT Brace is designed to be a covert Morpher that doesn't arouse suspicions because it is built exactly like a watch that is sold by Memorex. It also has the advantage of being a hands-free method of changing since it has microphones implanted in it to allow for vocal-only transformations. It can only be used by the registered user via a DNA lock and it will also indicate its presence to them when it is separated from them via an alarm. It also retains all of the functions of the SP Badge, but due to space problems it currently cannot hold any more features.
Henshin Sequence: Ellen calls out "Emergency! DekaFire!" and is immediately bathed in a protective corona of red and black light that protects them from harm. Unlike other suits, it is required that the user uses the full call because of its vocal nature.

Weapons: The D-Assault rifle, a gun that can manage to match the raw power of the D-Bazooka.
Abilities: The DekaMetal in the suit is supplemented with conventional physical armors that - while heavier certainly - protect from a great deal of harm. While it wouldn't stand up in any kind of ground war, it can absorb laser damage to some degree, has enhanced bulletproofing, and is very impact resistant. The armor can be broken and too damaged to be protective, but it's assumed that personnel aren't standing in the open intentionally taking bullets. It retains the speed and strength enhancers of the previous models of suits, and has a hyper advanced HUD display that contains facial recognition, reticles linked to the rifle, infared, Geiger counters, and basically any other thnig you can imagine you could put into it.
Finisher(s): A hyper charged laser shot from the D-Assault that matches the user's color and has a similar elemental effect in the energy pattern. In this case it's red and firey.

History
Ellen didn't exactly have a normal childhood. Her parents were new age hippies who traveled all across the country in a second-hand van. Hell, Ellen didn't even get an actual name until 6 when her parents had just saw the newly released movie Alien and named her after the title character, before then they just referred to her as "Honey" or "Star Child."
Being born into the hippie lifestyle meant Ellen really had no choice but to continue that lifestyle as her own even after she turned eighteen. It wasn't long until she met a fairly nice fellow and they got hitched with her giving birth to a baby girl not long after. It was when she first held her daughter and looked into her little eyes that she decided she wanted to do something with her life, something that would help her daughter live a better more opportune life that she had.
Most new mothers would focus on nursing and other motherly things, Ellen did and train her body. When Davina was only five and she was twenty-seven, she was managed to join the Marine Corps. She was among the first deployed to Afghanistan after 9/11. It was during a special ops mention that she came across actual alien life and it sure wasn't friendly..
Ellen came home at the age of thirty a different woman. She was colder, harder, and just wanted to be left alone. It wasn't soon after that her divorce occurred and her daughter who she barely knew went off on her own.
Ellen found herself all alone in the world and decided to channel that frustration into her work. She applied to become a police officer in Chicago, but instead got selected to join an elite group of intergalactic law enforcers - the Dekarangers. She started off a mere beat cop, quickly rising through the ranks to SP and then finally the leader of SWAT.
