Inner Stuff
Likes:
- Baseball
- Despite doing it for a job now days, Dominic quite likes to travel.
- Defusing situations without resorting to violence.
Dislikes:
- Close relationships - he'd rather not have anyone to disappoint.
- People who display any of the seven deadly sins.
- Being played for a fool by a client.
Strengths:
- Resourceful, and thus very good at what he does.
- Master of confidence trickery... don't ask.
- Innate languages skills.
Weaknesses:
- Appeals to his spirituality. He will always give an enemy a second (third, forth, fifth) chance.
- His rider system tends to work against him in that it'll only work if he displays the matching knightly virtue.
- Women. Into chivalry, to the point of irritating people.
Goal(s):
- Though money certainly plays a part in it, he mostly wants to provide humanity with the means to defeat Shocker.
- To see the job through to completion... no matter how long that takes. No matter the cost.
Habits/ Quirks:
- Says a silent prayer before every engagement, and yet prefers to keep his relationship with religion purely in the realm of non-denominational spiritualism.
- Though he wants to help the world out against Shocker, he isn't a fan of combat. He'd prefer to supply found rider gear to his client and make a clean break before the shit hits the fan.
Relationships:
- [PM me if interested] Dr. Kline, creator of the virtue rider system - Run's R&D for a small PMC. Truly dislikes Dominic working for URSA, or anyone else for that matter.
Overview:
At one point in his youth, Dominic had far less scruples, but since being mentored by Dr. Kline he is a good man, or at least he tries to be. Naturally, he doesn't enjoy using such underhanded tactics to meet the client's mission brief, but will if he must. It's clear to him that he can't pick and choose who he works for in this game, but if he plays his cards he thinks he can do some real good. Outside of his dogged obsession with proving that he's a changed man, he still enjoys a spot of baseball every now and then... when being a gear privateer doesn't get in the way.

History
As a young lad Dominic Geiszler quickly realised that he, the son of the chief financial director of a multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer, didn't really have to worry about responsibility. If he got in trouble he could either get his family to bail him out, or just drop a few names, call in a few favours, pull a few choice strings and walk free on his own. All he want was to play ball and have a good time.
Through he never fell in with the so-called "wrong crowd", he was a law to his own. Things got progressively worse for Dom until his 24th year. He realised that he'd do literally anything to get what he wanted, even screw over his own friends to scrape together a little money to fuel his gambling and womanizing... and it scared him. Of course, owing a number of powerful people a lot of money, it wasn't that easy to change.
That was when he met a small time R&D engineer, one Dr. Kline, who picked Dominic out of the metaphorical gutter and promised him the future was his for the taking. From then on, he became a kind of apprentice or protege to the doctor. He found himself with a new view of the world. Given the chance to change himself for the better, Dom devoted himself to helping Dr. Kline in anyway he could. He was even allowed to test the new virtue rider system.
Of course, things are hardly ever all sunshine and daisies. Even those you consider pillars of virtue rarely hold up to a close examination. As it turns out Kline wasn't exactly the best of role models behind closed doors. After all the doctor had done for him, he felt he had a duty to helping him in his time of need. Steeling his courage, he confronted him about it. Long story short Kline didn't take kindly to being questioned. One thing lead to another and Dom found himself disowned.
Disillusioned and unsure where to go or what to do, he traveled for a number of years. Until then he'd blissfully ignored the growing Shocker problem, but his travels only served to drum one single thought into his head. The world is in trouble. Knowing he had to do something, anything, he reluctantly used the skills he'd learned in his youth to break into the Kline's office and steal a VirtueDriver and three Virtucrosses.
On his way out he pocketed a gear tracker and set to work on making the necessary connections in the rider world. He hopes one day to rekindle the mentor-protege relationship he had with Kline... but only if the man can swallow his pride and do the right thing without think of himself first.
