Overview:
A man quite tired with life, Karasu honestly doesn’t care if he lives or if he dies. He finds little meaning in battle of any sort, and in the traditional understanding of it, he finds only an inevitable death. He will also say that those who question their enemy are not worthy of fighting; fighting is not about understanding; it is about taking care of something. It is about killing, about surviving. This is one of the world’s cold truths. He knows that he has to fight for the betterment of humanity, but he's jaded after seeing how vile humans can be to each other. He started to question how much they're really worth fighting for.
He is an elitist (only among humans, he doesn't act as such among other Knights), a man who goes straight to the point. He’s brutally honest, showing little compassion, but it is there, at times. He knows that life is a serious endeavor, and that life requires focus and attention. He finds distractions (such as hobbies) to be worthless, believing that life only needs to be directed at one thing, instead of cluttered with useless things. A single goal is all that is truly needed.
He faces things head on, and believes that everyone should. He’d rather someone come straight for him, rather than flee. Yes, there is an aspect of cunning that is required, an amount of back-stabbing, but for the most part things should be blunt, they should be directly put out. He also believes, in extension, that if someone is willing to fight, they are willing to die, or to kill, and should never flee a fight, or feel bad about having to kill.
He knows that the world has a great deal of senseless malice, and that people need to realize that. If they don’t, their lives have been pointless. He believes that everyone should see the world for what it is, rather than see it through rose-tinted glasses of any sort. There is beauty in the world, but it’s still a cold place, a place with fear, loneliness and death.
He has strong morals, honor and chivalry. He doesn’t discriminate, believing that everyone deserves to have a fair chance at the same start, and then must carry themselves on their own power, and if they realize they can’t, then they must make arrangements to fix that. He holds an odd kindness and sincerity, despite his blunt approach, especially towards women and children.
First and foremost, business is on his mind. He’ll do anything to slay Horrors, thinking about killing them more than protecting humans. This puts him at odds with some of the other Makai Knights, but there's no doubt that Karasu is effective at what he does.
Hero Stuff
Name: RAVEN, Knight of the Storm Wing
Type Of Hero: Makai Knight
Henshin Device: Twin short swords/long daggers
Henshin Sequence: He draws them from his back and spins with his arms out, cutting an angled circle (or a few angled cuts) around his body. The armor flashes through those cuts and onto his body.
Forms:
- Form Name: RAVEN, Knight of the Storm Wing
Image/ Description: A helmet like this (again) with streamlined black armor, not bulky at all, very light and compacted. The torso armor is overlapped (such as this), as is the armor running through the legs and arms.
His shoulders are rounded with black metal feathers sticking upwards around the shoulders themselves. In the back he has two arrowhead-like pendants affixed to his shoulders. They can launch out and draw him around, or they can transform into large soul metal wings.
Motif: Raven, armor
Color Scheme: Black, light gray, dark gray, red (eyes)
Transformation: See above
Fighting Style: Very fast and agile. His lighter armor makes him fast on his feet. He focuses on evasion and tactical cuts, usually taking out the legs before taking a double stab to kill.
Weapons: Twin short swords, Madou Lighter
Abilities: Higher stats (speed especially more than other Knights, but lower defense), soul metal wings (they burn up his timer to activate, however), flight with wings. He can swing his lighter out to unleash Madou Fire feathers that fly at a target.
Finisher(s): Flaming Armament: he lights himself on fire and uses flaming slashes to kill the target

History
Karasu's father had been a Priest, not a Knight. His mother was a Priestess who left the field after becoming pregnant with her children and never returned to battle. Their father continued his fight while Karasu and his sister remained and were raised by their mother. She was always fearful her husband would never return, and urged him to retire, but he had to push onwards. She tried to plead with him again, to retire until the children were at least old enough to remember him. He declined again.
Fortunately their father survived for years and years, and was there to help bring up his children. He had hoped Karasu would be a Knight, and wanted him to go and train at a camp with other young Knights to be. He was forced to leave home and train there, while his twin sister remained behind at home.
Karasu was raised in a building with five other young boys. They lived together, fought together, ate together, did everything together. They were trained under an older Knight and competed with other young boys. Karasu wanted to excel, but fell behind. His swordplay started to lack and he was better at running away than he was at fighting.
Eventually the training ended, and his instructor couldn't give Karasu any sort of recommendations. He returned home, ashamed. He continued to practice and practice, but he knew what the instructor had meant. He should be a Priest, not a Knight. He lacked the abilities to be a Knight.
Karasu didn't give up. He began to work hard, but this was life. He didn't gain the incredible improvements he needed through sheer force of will and never giving up. He kept failing and striving to gain power, but it never came. He shut out the people around him and fought long and hard in practice, coming to great levels of despair and pain, coming back every night tired and his hands bloodied from his sword.
His father went to him one night and told him that he had done more while Karasu had been away. He had retired from the field and had gone into construction of tools and equipment for the Makai. He had managed to craft a suit of armor and wanted Karasu to use it. Karasu said that he wasn't ready, but his father said otherwise. He said that it was made just for Karasu, and it would be what he needed as he was.
Karasu continued to train until he was twenty, at which time he used the armor for the first time. He finally had power! He could finally fight! He fought as RAVEN with his speed and agility, but was cutting things close on the timer. He wasn't the best fighter, but he was improving.
As the years went by and he continued to train and fight, he became better. He learned how to use his style and agility to the best. He saw the young boys he had lived with had grown into full Knights, and were superior to him. But that was ok, he had succeeded as well.
Karasu began to become jaded as he went through life and fighting, soon not caring if he lived or died. He saw how detestable humans could be and began to stop caring about them. He knows he has to protect them yet, but is having difficulties with it. He's drifted away from his parents, and even from his sister.
