The Cracks were a recurring phenomenon brought on by Helheim Forest. Inves would come out and plague the Earth, while the forest itself also extended its reach out and would cause some of its fauna to appear on the Earth.
In 2014, Helheim was stopped, and as such the fauna infestations ended. However, Inves continued to emerge and cause issues on Earth. The Inves helped to make up some of the Shin-Shocker army, but were destroyed as well, just like the rest of the army.
The Cracks stopped appearing during the war effort. Only one Crack has been located thus far, ten years ago, in the mountains of Japan. It produces no fauna, and the fruits inside of Helheim will not transform into Lockseeds. The Crack refuses to close, and nothing seems to happen.
