Progress. That was all that mattered to Paul. If one could make progress, nothing else mattered. If Paul had to choose how he died, it would be in the lab, doing whatever he needed to in order to create progress. Of course, he wanted to live long enough to see progress come to light.
That was the hopeful result of today's experiment. One of URSA's scientific teams had recovered a mere sliver of a very rare metal alloy identified as "Lucifer Metal". It was Paul's job today to examine it and see how it could be useful to URSA.

The elevator opened and Seto walked out with a cargo trolley and on it was a batch of secured containers. He made his way to Paul Herbert's lab and greeted him was a glass door. He patiently waited for the man to come out.

Paul briefly glanced back and flicked a nearby button. The glass door opened automatically.
"By the table on the left, please." he said, not taking his eyes off his work.

"Yes, sir." Seto said and stopped the trolley near the table, before removing the metallic crates and setting them on the desk.
Once he was finished, Seto asked. "Anything else, Mr. Herbert?"

Seto nodded. "Alright then."
He made his leave as he headed out the doors.

Paul opened one of the containers and extracted two glass containers of meta. He placed one under a microscope and began to observe it.
