Andrea looked at her watch and tapped her foot impatiently. She had been waiting for quite some time for her partner on a mission that was assigned to her directly by Lady Natsumi. It was a simple retrieval mission, but it was in Helheim, hence why she stood in front of the Crack. Looking back at the portal, she sighed as the memory of that day 19 years ago, when that Kamen Rider saved her...

Miko had been having a rather compelling (not) conversation with Chief Nakagawa about something she'd heard one of her fellow Kurokage's say in passing, so she hadn't received the summons for the mission until she was already late. She had her Driver and Seed, and turned a corner to see she had a partner. "Hi. Let's get this over with." She had a skirt that needed completing, in addition to about a kafrillion other things that were probably more productive than going to get something some Zectrooper had dropped in Helheim or whatever.

"You do know what the assignment is, right?" Andrea asked Miko, raising an eyebrow. "It's not something we can just 'get over with!' There is a belt inside Helheim, and that's all we know. We're gonna be looking for a while."

Miko was about to shoot back, but decided not to come off as a total bitch. "Really? Nothing else? We have the intelligence department of the gods, and all we have is there's a belt in Helheim? Not even a general location beyond 'thataway'?" Miko pointed into the crack to punctuate her last word.

"There wasn't time; I expect us to get more intel as we're looking for it. This was a last-second deployment, honestly, and I can kind of understand why. If allies of GAIA are already aware of it, they may already be inside," she said. "Anyway, we don't have the time. Let's go." With that, she stepped into the Crack, instinctively looking behind her to see if it closed before she sighed. "Don't be stupid, Andrea. It hasn't closed for years now..."

Miko stepped in after her. She had a point; if they lost one of the old, non mass-production Sengoku Drivers to Gaia, who knows what havoc they'd wreak. They managed to kill several innocents with a single monster. Imagine what they could do with a Rider. She placed her Driver about her waist, as a precautionary measure.

Andrea sighed before her URSA-issued cell phone buzzed in her pockets. She then looked at the message and beamed. "Huh. Not that far from the entrance. About a three miles northwest..."

"Oh... Well, that was easy." Miko muttered. The intelligence department had come through after all. She needed to remember to thank Chief Nakagawa when she got back.

Andrea put her phone back, and sighed. "Well, looks like we can wrap this up then," she told Miko, walking in the direction specified.

Miko nodded, walking after her. She spun her Lockseed around one finger, looking around for enemies.

Andrea, meanwhile, was keeping an eye out for the belt. She wasn't even briefed on what type it was, so it only made things that much harder for her...

"Are there still Invess in this forest? Do you know?" Miko asked, continuing to look around. Might as well make some small talk. This silence was killing her.

"I dunno... I haven't been in here since the war," she told Miko, sighing.

"I hope not..." Her aunt had told her the stories. The Invess were really, really creepy. She shook her head and kept on the lookout.
