"Half a mile," she said. "Not far now." Andrea looked around some more, seeing if the belt was closer than they were led to believe... But all she saw were ruins of a very familiar camp. "Wait a second... this is..."

"Hm?" Miko turned around, trying to see what her partner was seeing. All Miko were some ruins, but they apparently held great meaning to her partner. "What is it?"

"Shh!!" Andrea told her, holding up a hand as she heard rustling from the grass before an Elementary Invess flew out towards them. "Invess!!"

Miko leapt to one side, rolling up into a crouch and opening her Lockseed. The pinecone appeared above her head, and she slammed it into place, locking and cutting it.
MATSUBOKKURI ARMS! ICHIGEKI IN THE SHADOWS!
She hefted her Kagematsu, ready to fight.

Andrea was about to transform, but the Invess flew by her and knocked her over, causing the belt and seed to fall out of her hands.

Miko popped to her feet, spinning the Kagematsu above her head and taking a long swing, holding the Kagematsu by the very end of the shaft, trying to drive the Invess back and away from Andrea.

The Invess was knocked back by the swing, and roared as it flew towards Miko before it noticed the stray Lockseed. It then decided to go after it rather than the Rider...

Miko saw what it was looking at. "Oh, no you don't!" She planted herself firmly between the Invess and the Seed, continuing to swing in the same manner to keep it at a distance. "Get the Seed! I'll keep it back!" Miko yelled to Andrea, hoping it would work...

Andrea nodded, and she tried to get to the seed, but the Elementary Invess, clearly both very angry and very hungry, simply unfolded its wings and flew over her, taking the seed and consuming it. It fell to the ground and writhed before transforming into the Lion Invess. It then picked up Andrea and tossed her into the camp ruins.

"Cheater!" Miko screamed, hitting the blade once.
MATSUBOKKURI SQUASH!
She charged at the Invess, the energy pinecone forming as she ran, hoping to kill the Invess now so she could get the other girl.
