The monster just lay down and took its beating. It was a little difficult for it to get back up, but it still shrieked in pure, unadulterated rage.

She raised her Kagematsu, stabbing it down as the energy pinecone formed.

The monster shut up, and then shut down with a violent explosion.
"That was just unusual." Adam noted as he removed himself from his hiding place.

Miko got a good hard look at her red-and-blue ally. She began mentally running through ways to find and contact him.

Adam kept his distance, but he managed to get a good look at the red-and-blue hero. She wasn't like any Rider he knew, few that he did.
