"Don't we all?" Adriana drawled before a marine quickly ran to Adriana.
"Captain we seem to have a problem," he said.
"What is it marine?" she asked.
"Intelligence has intercepted a coded message, it's on a frequency used by Shocker extremists."
"I didn't know that they had a radio yet alone any sort of coded messages."
"It seems they're in hiding, but the problem is that there is word that they're going to retake the package."
"Is that so? Secure the perimeter and get all the media to the safe zone, have all men arm themselves," as the marine nodded and quickly went to relay the order, "well Miss Garret I hope that you brought your gear with you."

"Go and change then," Adriana said as marines began picking up assault rifles, "I want this entire area secured. No one comes in or out anymore, full speed on the excavation, but do it carefully. No explosives at this time and keep searching for those Medals!"
"Yes Captain," the marines said as there was a flurry of movements as Adriana stepped outside to see two machine gun emplacements were erected in front of the entrance, ready to cut down anything that came their way. Patriot squawked loudly and landed on her shoulder as she rubbed his head.
"Come on Patriot time to work, America needs us," she said to him before taking out the phone and punching in the numbers. STANDING BY! it said before she put it into the driver, COMPLETED! before the Photon bloods coursed through her as she changed into Psyga.

Harper had mastered the art of the quick change. She changed into her leathers in a minute flat, putting her helmet on as she did so. Her back-up guns were all holstered and at the ready as she put her hand around the hidden ballast and trigger of her ZECT Gun. She walked over to Psyga's side, gun ready.

"Incoming!" a marine shouted before a large explosion rippled from the entrance as gunfire erupted as Shocker insurgents, armed with SMGs, began to engage with the marines while a few Kaijins were leading the assault.
"Should have known," Adriana said as she took out her edge tonfas and ran up to the nearest one before punching it sending it reeling, "relay all orders: protect the package at all cost, don't let them through the excavation site!"

Harper did what she did best; she opened fire on the wall of incoming Kaijin, nerve breaking bullets flying.

The Kaijins engaged Adriana as they saw her as the most important threat as that didn't faze the soldier at all, she ducked under one and slashed at it before round kicking the other one. Her mission wasn't to defeat them all, it was to ensure that the package was secured and excavated, so she just had to stall them as long as possible.

Harper went in closer, fighting with a combo of crude point blank fire and using her gun as a club. She ahd no idea how well this would work. She wasn't trained to be on the front line, she was trained so she could make the Riders look good, simple as that. So she grunted and fired with her bad equipment, hoping for the best.

One of the Kaijins disengaged and went straight for Harper as it swung its arms at her while the other two continued to pester Adriana. Meanwhile the US marines were doing an okay job against the Shocker insurgents as a group of them went flying from a grenade blast.

The Kaijin was fazed slightly, but it didn't affect it at all as it went for a haymaker at Harper.

The punch knocked her over, causing her to have to rethink her "shoot a lot strategy". Thinking on, well off, her feet she struck out and aimed a kick at the monster's groin.

Even though it was a monster it still had feelings in the lower extremities as it yelped in pain before falling over from said pain as Adriana looked at it, "Really?" she asked before stabbing one of them as it exploded, "Is this what ZECTroopers are all capable of?"
