It was just another average day at Amanogawa High School (though it was more of an Academy than a High School at this point). The students were making their way into the cafeteria to enjoy lunch.
Many were sitting and happily enjoying their meals (made by actual professional chefs) when a trumpet began to play.
It was then that (in)famous Economics teacher Hikaru Corday came riding on a rather hefty student's back while another student carried an old school boombox on his shoulder.

Michelle was at her own little corner of the staff table when she heard the trumpet and sighed. "Great, he has to make an entrance, doesn't he...?"

"Thank you, Wajima. That will be all," Hikaru said as he dismounted.
"Do I get that extra credit you promised?" the boy asked.
"We'll see. I noticed you didn't make any neighing sounds when we arrived," Hikaru shook his head, "Very disappointing."
The student Wajima grumbled before walking away.

Hikaru sighed, talking aloud to no in particular, "You just can't get good help these days. I used to have a real a horse, a beautiful white stallion named Philippe..Those were the days."
He moved over to the staff table and frowned as soon as he saw Michelle.

"I am a teacher, why shouldn't I show off my power to the students? Do you want them to perceive me as weak and rally against me?" Hikaru said as he took his seat, "Students are like beasts. They smell weakness and a Corday is not weak."

"I never said they weren't, I said they were like beasts. Please learn to listen," Hikaru replied, "Nothing? A Corday is many things, but never nothing, unlike yourself."
A female student brought Hikaru his meal.
"Thank you Hamasaki, my dear," Hikaru smiled slightly, "You will find your payment in your account right away."
She nodded and walked off as Hikaru prepared to eat.

A high-pitched scream cut through the tension like a knife before an alarm began to ring.
KAIJIN ALERT! KAIJIN ALERT!
"Looks like you're little show and tell will have to wait," said Hikaru, standing up.

"Trying to hog all the glory?" Hikaru crossed his arms, "I think not!"
While those two were busy arguing, the other teachers were helping the students to their designated shelters.
"Besides," Hikaru pulled out the Bluto Driver, "I'm the one with the Driver."
