The Enemy Within [Theo/Mentor]

[Hana, Aurora, & Jane]

Hana felt like shit. She grumbled as she pulled the covers off of her and rubbed her head. 

"I drank last night, didn't I..?" she sighed, "Not again.." 

Each Magi gets their own room in the House and each one is custom to their chosen Magi's wishes and desires. Hana's, for instance, looks exactly like the room she shared with her sister Rikka when they were kids.

It pained her to be in there, but at the same time it was a great comfort.

"Oh Rikka.."   

[Mentor]

"Yes, you did." Mentor stood outside the door, holding a smoking phial of nondescript grey liquid.

[Hana, Aurora, & Jane]

"Oh..Mentor. Please come in," said Hana, "I take it that is your famed cure for the hangover?"

Basette was nowhere in sight and Hana was kinda glad. She's been her faithful companion over the years, but even Hana has to admit she has her moments of annoyance, especially her seeming hatred of Mentor.

[Mentor]

"It is." Mentor nodded, stepping into the room and handing Hana the phial. "Sip it slowly if you don't want to die of a coronary."

[Hana, Aurora, & Jane]

"Why thank you, Men-" it was then that a glob of black ooze entered the room and headed toward Hana's bed.

[Mentor]

"What the devil?" Mentor exclaimed. That certainly wasn't part of the House.

[Hana, Aurora, & Jane]

The blob was as only the size of a small cat, but there was no missing it as oozed its way to Hana's bed, ignoring Mentor completely.

"Whatever it is, it can't be good.."

She already had her MagiPhone out at this point, as she kept on her second pillow whenever she slept.

[Mentor]

Mentor waved his hand in the direction of the blob, and felt it emanate a dark aura.

"This reeks of dark magic." he warned. "Be careful."

[Hana, Aurora, & Jane]

Hana nodded, standing up on the bed, "Go and fetch Theodore. I'll handle it until you get back."

[Mentor]

"It will be done." Mentor turned and walked briskly through the wall. He continued through the wall, until he came across Theodore's room.

[Hana, Aurora, & Jane]

Theo was still a little wet behind the ears when it came to being a Magi, but still whatever thing was.. it was the first thing that had ever broken into the House. Hana had experience sure, but none on how to quite handle this..

[Theodore Fitzgerald]

A large explosion could be heard as Theodore stepped outside of his room, "Blast it! What in god's name was that?" he asked as Albert was armed with twin scimitars as he slashed at the black blob, which reformed again.

"I have no idea," Albert admitted, "let's regroup for the moment," as Theodore nodded as the two of them jogged towards Hana's room before sighting Mentor.

"Ah Mentor good morning," Theodore said, "if possible any ideas on why there were black blobs trying to strangle me the moment I woke up?"

[Mentor]

"I'm afraid a dark presence has invaded the House." Mentor replied solemnly. "Most likely Infershia."

[Hana, Aurora, & Jane]

The blob began to crawl up upon Hana's bed only for it got struck down by several spheres of lightning.

Hana looked up to see Basette floating there.

"Was wondering when you were going to show up," Hana smiled.

"I'm never too far from your side," Basette smiled back.

[Theodore Fitzgerald]

"Infershia? An attack? I thought the House was secure," Theodore said.
