On a planet in a galaxy far, far away exists a highly advanced races of beings that have prospered for over a millennium. That is until a powerful and ancient darkness spread across their world, ushering forth an army of giant monsters that laid siege to their home.
The darkness completely consumed the world, but could not destroy the planet's inhabitants as easily. Instead the Ultras were trapped in the form of "Spark Dolls" and spread across the universe, along with the monsters they once faced.
Their consciousness continued to exit within the Dolls, seeking out lesser beings as hosts in order to unleash their power against the forces of the darkness. A chosen host's Spark Doll will transform into a device capable of allowing their host to metamorphose into an Ultra themselves, at least for a short time period. Only their chosen host is capable of unleashing their respective Ultra's power, but word tells of a mysterious new Ultra with the unique ability to utilize any Spark Doll, not just his own..
