During the war, a group of Oni held off a large group of Makamou and their Douji/Hime pairs in a forest. They released Disc Animals to attempt to distract and confuse their enemies, but most of them were destroyed and smashed into the trees. In the aftermath, fragments of Disc Animals remain stuck in the trees of the forest.
When the light hits the forest just right, a rainbow-like effect appears, shining off of all of the fragments.
