The rider kick knocked James clear across the room, slamming him into a wall. As soon as he hit, he bounced slightly forward as his wins appeared.
"What the... Cool!" he said, looking over his wings.

A red dot appears on his chest as he is contemplating his new wings. The room wouldn't give him a lot of room to manuever, and the Sonic Arrow blast loosed immediately after would find its mark in a hurry if he didn't do something.

James noticed the blast in time to shield himself with wings. To his surprise, even though the blast knocked him and inch back into the wall again, when he opened his wings the blast was knocked aside.
"I'll never manage to pull that off again" James admitted, still against the wall, and tried to fire at Natsumi.

She pushes the lever twice. But nothing happens. And the two look at one another for a moment before the shot hits her armor..and does nothing. The Au Lait function had activated, without saying anything, enough to diffuse that one attack. Casually dusting off her chest armor, she fires again at Gram, several times in succession.

CAST OFF
He pulled the horns all the way back causing his heavy outer armor to fly off him and pelt Paul.

Paul was indeed pelted by flying armour pieces. Once the pelting subsided, he sighed.
"Well, that was bound to happen sooner or later."

"I'm not done yet!" he shouted, pulling the dual curved blades off his shoulders, "Clock up!"
Sometimes while James slept, Neil stayed up to practice with his armor so he knew a few tricks here and there.
CLOCK UP
Time came to a complete stand still except for Neil who grinned deviously. He then took Duke's cape and pulled it over his eyes. He then took a few steps back, took a deep breath, and then charged right at Duke. He jumped up, using Duke's helmet as a springboard to launch himself further up and through the hole.
CLOCK OVER
Neil did a quick barrel roll and readjusted himself upon impact with the lab floor. Once he was back up, he rushed over to the other battle and struck at Zangetsu's back with both blades.
"Hi, miss me?"

One moment the thieving scumsucker was there, the next he wasn't. Paul deduced that he was using the Clock Up function. Oh, how much untapped potential there was in that. He didn't have much time to react, because he ended up on the ground, with his cape over his eyes.
Recovering quickly, he jumped back up the hole and headed for the battle, slashing at Gatack's back.
"Surprise."

The Musou Saber came up behind her back Shinkenger style, to block the dual blades, and then she heard Paul's words too. Putting away the Saber, she brandishes the Sonic Arrow, the blades glowing green as she slashes twin energy discs towards James.

James quickly flew to his left to dodge the blasts, firing off a volley of five blasts at Natsumi as he flew. He glided until he found a wall, then kicked off and flew at her, swords forward.

Neil wasn't as freakin psychic as Natsumi so he wasn't able to block Paul's slash.
"You.. I thought I was done with you!"
He then twirled around coming at Paul with a dual slash from a right angle.
