She uses her Arrow arm to raise the arrow up and intersect both blades, the impact sending her skidding backwards several feet. The cocking of something is heard before she raises the Musou Saber and fires its clip at Gram from the surprise attack position.

He takes a few shots to the shoulder and upper chest armor, but holds his ground and his charge. A tail snapped out of the Dragonfruit, sweeping at her legs as it did.

"James!" Neil shouted, "I think it's time for a tactical retreat!"
If they had any luck left, Joel would have lifted the lockdown by now..
"Say.. you're a dragon now.. Do you think you can fly?"
Neil then attempted to brake the blade lock he had with Paul before going in a with a sharp kick to the left leg.

The blade lock was broken and Paul was forced to the ground by Neil's kick.
Suddenly, the sprinklers started going off, and the doors slid open.
"Hey, guess who accessed the fire suppression system! And the PA!" Joel's voice echoed through the lab.

Zangetsu Shin tosses aside her saber and Sonic Arrow, pressing the lever thrice and jumping up over the swords and the tail at the same time
"Melon Energy Sparking!"
She meets the dragonfruit's charge with an Energy Rider Kick right towards his chest, matching forward momentum with forward momentum and colliding in mid-air.

James whipped around as quickly as possible and managed to awkwardly meet the kick, deflecting it from his chest to his own foot. He gestured with a single finger for Neil to come over through a groan about the Rider Kick.

"Awesome, Joel! I know letting you join the crew was a great idea!"
Instead of finishing Paul off, Neil did the gentlemanly thing - humiliating him! He did a few nananana's and dancing around Paul while smacking his own ass with his blades before skipping off towards James.
"Hold it right there, pirate scum," shouted Jon, clad in his Durian armor, as he rushed into the lab and took his place in front of Neil as their blades collided, "I apologize for my tardiness, Miss Kureshima."

"No apology necessary." Zangetsu Shin stepped on James' foot, since he was so kind enough to divert her kick there, and then once she alighted on her feet, stomped on it. She greeted a skipping Neil with an arrow to the chest, for being a jerk.

Neil gritted his teeth as he was struck by the arrow in his chest.
"Please, Miss, allow me to take care of this cretin," he said before muttered, "And please try not to almost hit me with another arrow.."
While Neil was recovering from Natsumi's attack, Jon slashed him repeatedly in the chest before hammering with several kicks. He took Neil off guard so he was unable to block any of them.

She'd feel the punch hit the additionally armored side of her head, specifically one of the melon horns on the side. It took the brunt of the impact and saved her from a concussion. This only pissed her off, and increased her desire to want to defeat Gram. The different atmosphere can be felt as she ignores Neil and turns around, throwing a right hook of her own at Gram's face. Since her punch was supposed to be pretty powerful.

Jon hit Neil with a swift roundhouse kick to the left leg before twisting around, hitting the knife down on his Driver twice before slashing his blades right not into Neil himself, but his belt..
"It doesn't take much battle experience to realize that you should always go for the belt first," smirked Jon.
The damaged belt sparked before Neil's transformation ceased completely..

James took the punch, but he knew how to take one from his long career. He responded by grabbing her arm while she was too angry to kick and aiming a kick for her chest. He reextended his wings.
"Neil, get ready to bolt."
