It was then the previously thought to be defeated squidriod roared to life, lashing a tentacle at Malcolm.

The tentacle took him by surprise and knocked him a good thirty feet away from where he was.

It cried out once more before turning its sights on Drench lashing another tentacle strike at him.

Several tentacles loomed over Drench ready to crush him before he could even morph, but a shot out of nowhere blasted forth and struck the mechanical creature in its side, finishing it once and for all.
