Ever since Theodore had received his Blessing, Hana had been traveling the world searching for new Magi. Her search had recently brought her to the United Kingdom, said to be the ancestral home of modern magic.
Hana wasn't sure if that was true, but she was sure of the army of metal spheres snatching people off the streets all around flying back into the air.

The sphere containing Father Allaway was long gone, but a trio of fresh empty sphere came speeding towards Malcolm.

Malcolm let loose his lightning blast to destroy one, before yelling "Fire!" to transform. He followed up by firing his gun at the second and third.

The spheres shrugged off the blasts like they were nothing and kept inching closer to Malcolm.

"So they've finally begun huh? Looks like it's time for the resistance to rise," Aqua said as she transformed into Silver Pirate and began attacking the metal spheres with her spear.

Several of the spheres concentrated their attacks on Aqau, humming with power before shooting concussion blasts designed to smash and/or stun, not kill.

Aqua summoned her spear as she spun it around her to deflect the blasts away from her, "You're going to need to do better than that," she said as she jumped up and slashed at the spheres.

The slash scrapped one of the spheres, revealing its innards, but quickly rotated its body and spun out of the way before its two comrades fired once more on Aqua.

"Tch persistent things," Aqua said before taking out one of the Ranger keys and inserting it into the morpher and turning into MagiShine as she began shooting at it now.

Like before, the spheres shrugged off the blasts and continued their assault, this time doubling in numbers, each one surrounding Aqua and humming with power.

"You got to be kidding me, what kind of material are they made of?" Aqua questioned as she began to retreat knowing that the numbers would eventually overwhelm her.

On the other side of the city, Hana, clad in her white Magi robes, blasted a sphere with ice until it was completely frozen solid and watched as it crashed to the ground.
She attempted to do the same to another, only to get snatched from behind when she wasn't looking and get completely dragged inside the sphere's body.

At one point in the city, the two ToQgers had come under assault. Three spheres lay scrapped around the Green senshi, courtesy of the Axe. That axe was rather powerful, but, there was something about these spheres that worried her greatly, so she stayed close with her partner, Manami.

Manami raised her hammer, batting away several more spheres with her hammer. "The hell are these things?" she asked, looking back at Kai.
