Catching it would be a bad idea, as Lee had the drill adjusted to spin at dangerously fast speeds.

He grabbed it and grunted, trying to keep a grip on it, despite the pain. He poured Rinki into his hand to try to soften it.

The second the man grabbed the drill, Lee in the distance opened up the hilt's hatch and inserted his Drill Ressha in it before closing it back up.
'ALRIGHT! ALLLRIIIIGHT!'
He squeezed the trigger and a powerful burst of electrical energy discharged through the weapon's cable and into the drill, sending sparks ablaze around where his enemy stood.

Kaito stood as the power poured through him. He didn't let out a cry, but he hurt. He just focused on his breathing and tried to let go.

He could not block it in time and the attack knocked him off balance as he hit a tree with a heavy thud.

He angled his sword out, the ground being burned by extended Rinki. The blade was about ten feet long due to the Rinki extension, but he didn't have it lifted yet.

Kaito stopped and tossed his sword aside, standing unarmed. He drew into a stance and unleashed the power of the lion, sending a Rinki projection out, seeing it it would have the range to hit.
