Overview: The Mistress is a harsh, but caring leader. She does truly, deeply care for her students, and wants them to excel in their training and their lives. Which is why it annoys her so deeply that they all have their own issues. She believes in teaching in all of her ways, so she disciplines her students by outdoing them at their own specialties. She has effectively rejected modern society as a whole, as well as most traditional social values, so she rarely ever leaves the compound. She will only join fights if her students are completely incapable of overcoming the obstacle on their own. She also cannot figure out modern technology to save her life.

History

The Mistress's history is largely unknown, and she'd like to keep it that way. All that's known is that she left the Hurricane clan many years ago and started the Flower Clan. She chose Holland for it's beautiful flowers. She began finding girls to train, building up her Flower clan to become the preeminent ninja force in Europe. She hired herself out as an assassin at first, using her ninja skills to make money, but as she grew more attached to her students, she took fewer and fewer jobs. Eventually, she rarely ever left the compound.
When threats to the life of the Flower Clan began to arise, the Mistress gathered her four best students and have them their coins, which allowed them to assume their Hanaranger forms. She kept the fifth, to serve as their leader when something they couldn't surmount arose.
She continues to lead the Flower Clan with a fist of tough love to this very day. Not a single threat has arisen to require her to transform, but that may change soon.

Overview: Luci is dedicated to the Flower Clan and would do anything to help them achieve their goals, but at the same time, wants to have free time to slack off. Unlike the Mistress, she loves modern society and all of its trappings, and partakes of them often. Some of her favorites are movies and music, but she also plays video games fairly often. She's generally a very laid-back person, and she only really actively hates one individual. And that one individual is Micah. Because Micah takes advantage of her slacker ways to use her as a practice dummy for her ropework.

History

Luci was born the daughter of a pair of relatively affluent parents. She was showered with gifts as a young child, until her parents died in a horrific car accident. At that point, she lapsed into the custody of the state, until a strange woman appeared and bargained to have legal custody of Luci transferred. When that was granted, she brought Luci to the Flower Clan compound, where the Mistress accepted her and began raising her as a member of the Flower Clan.
Luci loved it. She loved being able to train as an actual ninja, and took her training very seriously. However, as she grew older, especially upon entering puberty, she began getting lazy. This was also around the time Micah was beginning to learn rope work, so Luci's laziness made her the perfect target. In response, Luci began studying combat acupuncture and started what has become a never-ending prank war between the two of them. She knows the Mistress could have ended it before it even began, but she suspects the Mistress likes to watch the show and see how creative the two girls can get.
Luci was one of the four chosen to receive a coin. She was honored, and trained even harder to live up to her new title.

Overview: Micah is self-centered, but not to too severe of a degree. She's got a problem with authority and tends not to follow orders, even from the Mistress, which is why it's speculated Micah spends more time being disciplined than actually training her skills. She likes her teammates, but at the same time, isn't that much of a team player. When she is training, it's usually her training her ropework on Luci, which is why Luci hates her guts.

History

Micah was born to a family in Venice who couldn't afford to keep her. They were too poor to support themselves and a child, so they searched for solutions. They finally found one, packaged Micah up and sent her up the continent to the Flower Clan compound when she was only an infant. The Mistress and the Clan raised her like a daughter, teaching her the arts of the Flower Clan from the moment she was able to learn.
And like all children, when she entered her teenage years, she rebelled. She began disrespecting authority and behaving like more and more of a selfish prick. She also decided to practice her rope work on Luci, unaware of the consequences. The resulting prank war has continued for almost 7 years now, and the pranks only get worse.
Micah was chosen to receive a coin. She pretended like she didn't think much of it, but secretly she was super-happy she did. She began training harder to fully utilize it's power.
