"Hikaru!!" Michelle shouted as she went to grab him. He helped him up and kept walking. "Kanon, open the outside airlock door!"

The door opened as Hikaru managed to get back up on his feet despite the pain.
"HURRY!" shouted Kanon through their coms.

Michelle nodded as she helped Hikaru inside, shutting the door as soon as they were in.

Hikaru was breathing heavily next to her after pulling off his helmet and throwing it to the floor.
"Any longer.. and that would have been bad.."
He then collapsed to the floor.

Michelle nodded, taking off her helmet and stepping into the hatch, discarding her spacesuit as she walked. At this point, she didn't care if Hikaru saw her in her underwear, they just got out of a life-or-death scenario. Reaching for her clothes, she began to dress back into her normal clothes.

Hikaru barely stood up while he removed his own suit, revealing the severe-looking burn on his left shoulder.
"That.. doesn't look good."
He then fell back to the ground unconscious.

Michelle's eyes widened as she reached for Hikaru. She sighed in relief when she found that Hikaru still had a pulse, and looked towards Kanon. "We need to get him to the infirmary..." she said, getting his clothes. "Help me get him dressed, first."

Kanon's face was in shock, but she nodded and together they got Hikaru changed and brought him to the infirmary.
Hikaru didn't stir nor said a single word the entire time..
His mind was elsewhere, on the dark loneliness of space, the menace of the unknown assailant, and most of all - the sheer magnificence of the Earth as it stood before him. How insignificant he felt in comparison..
