The entire school was on lock down because of some cataclysmic event taking place all over the world. No one was allowed in (or out) under any circumstances until the event subsided. BEACON was a having a field day with this and Hikaru hadn't been able to reach his brother in days.
Hikaru was non-nonchalantly sitting in the faculty office, twiddling a pen, without a care in the world. The student who had made that attempt on his life hadn't been seen since the incident, but was believed to be still on campus somewhere. By now, Hikaru had completely forgotten about his existence..

Michelle was also in the staff room, leaning back in the chair she sat in as she looked out the window. Sighing, she looked back at him. "Corday... do you have any idea what's going on?" she asked, concerned.

Hikaru twitched at the mention of the Chairwoman's name. He was still shaken from the last grilling she had given him about "harassing" the nurse or some other nonsense..
"Personally, I question why we were chosen to be the test pilots in the first place. We're not soldiers, we're barely even teachers."

"Just because I used it a few times to impress women and kill some pesky roaches in the cafeteria, doesn't mean I use it frivolously! If a monster appeared or a danger befall any of the students, I of course would step up to face it. It is the least I can do."
