Hikaru opened his mouth to say some more, but just then Kanon rushed into the room.
"Brother! Liao-sensei! You won't believe what I just found!"

"Alright, Michelle-sensei!" she said entirely too enthusiastic, "But I can't just tell you.. I need to show you!"
She then rushed back out.
"What was that about?" Hikaru frowned, "Don't tell me she found another stray dog.."

Hikaru actually understood that reference, but decided to keep it to himself. While he was living in the underground bunker, he would often amuse himself with such games.
He followed after the girls and entered the hallway. It was empty except for Liao, Kanon, himself, and the old janitor. Well he was a fairly new janitor, but was old.. You know what I mean.
"Hi, Jonathon," Kanon greeted as she passed him. The man nodded in return and continued to mop.
"Follow me guys!" she called out to Michelle and Hikaru as she continued down the hall at a fast pace.

"Kanon, are you sure you can't tell us what it is?" she asked, frowning. "This is extremely important, right?"

"It's a surprise~!" Kanon shouted back, "But you guys are going to freak when you see it!"
Kanon lead them deep into the old abandoned part of the school that was still under heavy renovation, forbidden to the current students and staff. She came to a stop in a front of the door to an old janitorial room.
"And here it is."
