The monster then grabbed Ivy by the throat before throwing her into a wall.

She hit the wall and slid down without a word, unconscious.

The monster approached Ivy as it raised it's fist as Tomoyo floated down and pointed it's blaster at it before she lowered it and thought about it for a few minutes contemplating whether to let Ivy live or die. However she then raised her weapon and fired as the lasers hit the monster as it roared in pain.

Tomoyo then began to fight against the monster as she ducked and weaved through the punches and attacks. She turned her blaster into a sword as the fight became more intense until finally she was able to stab it in the chest as it roared one final time before exploding, Tomoyo then turned to Ivy and walked towards her.

"Yes...if you sincerely do not want to protect this world, the morpher could be used by another chosen person, someone who will hopefully take this seriously and want to fight in the war," Tomoyo said, "don't worry...I'll make it quick and painless."

"Then we'll just wait, wait for someone else to be picked up," Tomoyo said, "you see while you and that other girl may not care...I care and I know how this works: if the person that uses it does die then another will be chosen, it may not be immediately, it may not be until a year...but someone will be chosen. So when that does happen...well...she or he will be recruited for the war. So...well you can decide."
