It was a somewhat sad day for Kate. The original Marika Driver and Peach Lockseed had been destroyed. A fool's venture, that Iris Trochu indeed. She hadn't even brought out the full potential of the Driver. Worthless, she thought coldly. So now, she had to make a second Genesis Core. And a second Peach Eenrgy Lockseed. These would take time.
Having used her connections, she kept up with events. She knew that what she'd seen before the Driver terminated was the Great Leader of Shocker. Perhaps it was time to upgrade her own Driver, in light of that fact.
Such a fact had also made her a bit more paranoid. After that one time with the cat, whom she affectionately kept and took care of, the Fluffypaws one, she had not allowed Nick Colt back into the lab. They always interacted elsewhere. She trusted him, but at the same time, did not.
Now, she's idly sitting in her apartment, watching the news while at the same time playing with her tablet.

"This isn't what I wanted out of travel," Mina muttered as she walked aimlessly around, looking at her phone. The map wasn't helping her. Her company had sent her to their Japanese branch to help sort out a problem that had occurred in the aftermath of the convergence, and it was important. It needed doing now, or a lot of people were going to start suffering as a result. She didn't want that.
"The maps aren't even right anymore," Mina muttered, "I guess that's what happens when two worlds smash together. I don't envy whoever has to get everything re-mapped. Or...well, figure out what's called what on the map."

She finally puts her tablet down and decides to stroll around the room, idly talking to herself about nothing in particular.

Mina sighed, "No! Don't die!" Her battery was too low and her phone went dark, "Come on! Why didn't I charge it earlier?" she muttered, "Oh right, electricity problems...," she sighed. This world was too much for her now.

"How..boring." She attends to her cat, before leaving it in the apartment as she walks outside, idly, dressed in a gray sleeveless t-shirt and blue jeans.

Mina sighed as she put her phone away. Ok, it couldn't be that hard to find the office building, right? Now if she could find an American or someone to ask directions from... She looked around. Yeah, too many Japanese people. This wasn't going well.

She wanders aimlessly for a little while. Prone to mischief, or so the adage goes. There were a lot of Japanese people around, and not very many tourists.

She stopped, "There!" she shouted in her joy. The building was right here! She went inside and took out her badge, fiddling with it before getting it onto the desk. They let her head upstairs to the computer room where she did a very simple fix.
"That...that was it?" she asked, "You don't have any other issues? Not even a laptop to reformat? I'll do anything! But for this alone my trip has been a massive waste of time! I...I mean no offense of course! But...but this is just...I'll stop talking now."
She left, somewhat depressed. That hadn't even taken five minutes, and her flight was so long...

She pauses outside a building, having noticed someone heading in. Waiting for the figure to return, she chuckles a bit as they do, though they seem depressed.

"I can't even use my phone to make departure plans." She stopped, "I could have gotten a charge in there...," she muttered. She turned back around, but stopped, "No, I think I made them mad. I can just wait for my ticket I already have..."
