Overview:
Jeremy comes off as arrogant, selfish and sarcastic, but usually one who jests a lot. He’s a rather cocky individual who believes himself and his work to be incredible, although deep down he knows that that’s not the case, and has a level of insecurity that few will ever see, unless they get very close. He doesn’t let people get close, however, and intentionally acts some of this way to keep people away.
He has an urge to protect, but will usually try to find a way to explain it away, trying to come off as a selfish individual in that way. It’s just an act, for the most part. He’d rather not care about people, because he doesn’t want to get hurt, or hurt others, either from his moving around, or from fighting that inevitably happens.
He can show genuine sincerity, and he’s not above showing gratitude where it’s deserved. He is a decent human, after all, and if someone does something like save his life, he’ll show the gratitude and then move on and try not to bring it up again. However, he has no concept of owing people outside of a one to one ratio. If someone does something for him, he must only do one thing back, and then nothing more. In such cases he tries to do it right away, not liking to owe favors.
He writes what he knows, and he travels to know more. He doesn’t really like traveling around like this, and he doesn’t like writing. He hates it. He calls it homework for the rest of your life. He finds it to be easy though, and the life of a traveling writer affords him women he can woo with ease.
He’s very self-confident, and will do stupid things because he believes he can get through it. He’ll take on stronger enemies than himself, but as soon as things are looking bad he’ll make his escape as soon as possible, without putting others in danger or anything. But he will go as long as possible, gladly.

History
Jeremy’s birth was the result of a human and Org of some sort, giving him the ability to use a lion’s roar. He didn’t know why he had such a power, and never really cared. He had it, it was his, good enough.
His parents were average, and he was an average student. He didn’t make a lot of friends, and those he did he alienated because of his selfish tendencies. He just chose to live his life like that, deciding that being hard was better than letting people in, for some reason.
When he grew older he decided to become a writer, because he liked writing in school. He bought a motorcycle and began to drive around the country for a while, then went to America to try his luck over there as a charming Brit who would sleep through women.
He published one book that got moderate success, enough to keep him funded as he wrote another one, at least. He’s growing bored of it all, and just wants it to be successful enough so he can quit.
The Gao mission comes second, and if he meets the others, ok, that’s fine. He’s in no rush though.
