Overview:
Quinn is a headstrong and strong willed college student who’s being thrust into things that she’d rather not be involved with. She’d rather be hanging out with friends than doing school work as it is, and with new responsibilities pilling up, she’s stuck in a no win situation.
As a student she’s decent. She doesn’t go above or beyond, does the minimal, and puts at least some effort in, but doesn’t often go back over her work or anything, unless a grade is in danger of going too low. That translates to her life as well; she usually doesn’t double check things unless it’s important, and just goes with it.
Quinn doesn’t have time for people who act stupidly or do stupid things. By no means is she a scholar or anything, but she at least has common sense and decency and refuses to get involved in or with stupid activities.
She’s a decent person. By no means is she going to reach out to anyone and everyone who looks to be in need, but she won’t turn you away if you need help. She’d rather keep to herself and friends rather than strangers, but by no means does she just ignore them. It’s just dependent on the situation.
She doesn’t really plan things out ahead, and is rather spur of the moment. She’ll do what feels right most of the time, even if it ends up going bad. She doesn’t learn, but still just does as she sees fit at any given time.
In high school she competed in both volleyball and track, although she favored volleyball and still does it in college, playing on the school’s team. Her cardio is good, as is her endurance, so she has that going for her and a base to build off of as she starts to train and learn to fight.
She has discipline when it’s something she cares about. Her rising skill in volleyball especially is testament to that, and she could put it forward to combat training and the like, but she doesn’t, since it’s not something she cares about. She still figures her parents will pull her out before things get stupidly dangerous.
She doesn’t want to be pressed into the position her sister’s death caused. She wants to mourn and move on, not have to live her life. She knows she has no way out, because her parents push her so hard to become part of the XDI. She started smoking in her last year of high school as a result to try to take some stress off, although she has it somewhat controlled to one or two a day.
Hobby-wise, she has practice for volleyball, training (combat at the moment since her repeated pleas fall on deaf ears), and some reading, mostly fiction novels. She’s no stranger to boys and has had a number of sexual relationships without her parents knowing.
She enjoys drawing (she’s not very good) and writing (primarily poetry), and will do that in free time that she has. She often has paper with her so she can sketch or write when she’s bored, but it’s not really something she shows other people. She doesn’t try to hide it either, it’s just there.
She may not seem affected by her sister’s death, but she is. She just doesn’t like to show it. She was a mess after Megan died, and still has some issues with it, but keeps it all bottled up, or just feels the pain in private, often in her room.

History
Quinn had a sister who was five years older than her. Their parents were involved in some sort of agency that she really didn’t know anything about, and was never told about. She more or less just stopped asking and figured it was something shady, or embarrassing. She just let it go.
She made a good group of friends and enjoyed her time with them more than her secretive family. Her sister eventually started to become the same way as her parents, so she spent less and less time with Megan.
In high school she enjoyed volleyball and track, and competed for the school in both of those events. It was during junior year that her sister died in a car accident. Quinn mourned her and tried to move on. Her parents began to tell her about the organization they were a part of, and what Megan was doing with them.
Megan was set to be a combatant for the organization. Now Quinn was going to have to. She refused, but her parents forced her into it against her will. She just wanted to move on with her life, not get into stupidly dangerous activities.
With the stress of her parents forcing her like this, she took up smoking and just got through high school and moved onto college. If nothing else, they weren’t making her do anything until high school was over. She got into college and started on their volleyball team while balancing school and the things her parents made her do to try to make her a fighter.
She’s struggling with all of it, especially since she doesn’t want to learn to fight or anything, and it’s become very slow going.
