Well, Alaric didn't want to be in Japan, and having to possibly deal with that bear organization or whatever it was, but he was here. Sadly. He never liked Japan, never really got the language either. But a murderer was here and he had to take care of it. As a former PI and homicide detective he was pretty good at this, but this was an alien murderer. He'd never dealt with one before.
Maybe this would be smooth. Maybe not. He was about to find out as he staked out the killer at a restaurant. He was outside, watching from across the street, in street clothes, not a uniform.
